    I plugged it into the slot of my old mobile base on my camera and it fit perfectly. This specific ball is 1 inch in diameter. I used it, of course, with a Peak Design mobile case and it is the most stable and secure thing I have used so far. On a naked camera without a fairing (thus with the exposed base) and at a speed of 130 km/h, I had no stability issues.
