Capabilities

Inverter welding MMA / MIG / TIG from the manufacturer Helix, where inverter technology enhances the performance and durability of the machine and helps reduce its weight. The MMA electrode method creates thick and strong welds without the need for an external gas supply, making it ideal for welding outside the workshop. The MIG method requires the wire to have a special coating (flux) or it needs to be connected to an external gas cylinder (e.g., argon, CO2). Meanwhile, the TIG method is suitable for slow welding on aluminum and stainless steel that requires detailed work and does not create splashes. It can operate continuously for 6 minutes at 140A before needing to stop to cool down.

    As a first impression, the machine seems to be a cheap construction, definitely not for professional use, with enough practice you will get quite good welds, definitely better than electrode welding, in the house where I used it, it often tripped the circuit breaker, overall it is good for amateur use.

    The machine at first glance is high-quality and sturdy. It is lightweight as technology evolves to be more user-friendly in our daily lives. The welding it performs is what I want - I am an amateur - both with gas and electrode. I did not try TIG because I do not have the clamp. My objection is to the cable for the MIG, which is 1.40... quite small to limit your movements if you want to do work outside the bench. Maybe if it was 2 meters as stated in the specifications, I would give it 5 stars. For someone who wants it at an amateur level, it is the best and worth the money. The 2-year warranty is also important.
