I bought this panel at 1250W, which means it is supposed to heat a room up to 35sqm if I remember correctly. I used it this winter of 2021-22, which was one of the harshest winters we have experienced in Athens, in a 12sqm room with poor insulation, in a top-floor house that was hit by strong winds from all sides except one, and I honestly couldn't believe the result. For this winter, 4 months of usage (December - March), in a house where two people lived, I mainly used the panel almost all day, except for an air-conditioner in the living room and minimal use of other electrical appliances, and we paid a total of 350€ for the electricity bill of the house!!! (at a time when the first wave of readjustment clauses etc. was happening) for all these months. I had also purchased a wifi thermostat and a Nedis smart plug, and I had recorded all the kWh I had consumed, but I can't retrieve the data from the app because I have been away from this house for a while.

The main drawback of this panel is its large size and weight. For that reason alone, I give it a 4. Otherwise, it would be a solid 5. Apart from that, I consider it one of the most effective heating solutions despite the various comments I had read about panels. It was tested under the harshest conditions and successfully endured one of the toughest winters in one of the most unsuitable houses.

I highly recommend heating with infrared radiation panels. I later found out that the place where I bought the wifi thermostat has panels with better features and a better performance-to-cost ratio.

For the 1,000 watts it has, it does an amazing job, it emits a strange but very natural warmth, you don't feel any intensity and, how can I put it, the environment doesn't feel heavy. It's as if the sun has entered the house.
However, for me, it's not perfect. First of all, in order for it to work properly, it needs to be placed in a specific spot where it can see the space (i.e. corners, etc. are forgotten). It also requires a specific height, it can't be placed too low like a convector or too high, for example, the ideal would be at 1.50 meters.
Generally, from what I understand, the way it works is like a lamp, the more space it can see, the better.
Another downside is that its surface is excessively hot, you can't touch it, so keep it away from small children, children's rooms, etc., it requires caution.
Another downside is its weight, so portability is difficult (for those who don't intend to mount it on the wall).

Also, people need to understand that these things take time to heat up because they heat up objects, so the warmth is not immediate like with a convector, for example. However, the positive thing is that after it's turned off, the warmth remains because the objects have retained a temperature.

If its use is to heat a room for several hours, I believe it is perfect. If you want something for immediate heating and use for 1-2 hours, then choose a convector.
