I have bought the Lockdown 7, but my sister and his godmother got these as a gift for my son. As for durability, it's still early to tell, although I hope they last a bit longer than the others I've seen. first of all, a HUGE fan of Nike/Adidas, basically my whole life, and I have never bought a pair of their shoes that got damaged before a year passed..but here, they broke ALL RECORDS!
initially, I bought the red ones, which looked really great..and look at the photo where they went and got worn out! for the love of God! back and inside the heel! what kind of shoe wears out THERE??
wanting to believe that it was a defective batch, I got the black ones too, and guess what..wear and tear within ONE MONTH, AT THE EXACT SAME SPOT!!!! worn only with cotton socks, in loose fit (not tightly laced)
UNDER ARMOUR, ARE YOU KIDDING US???? even a shoe from the flea market hasn't lasted this little! even fake All Stars from Sklavenitis lasted me at least 6 months!!
so back to Nike, and don't wonder why they are number 1!! it's a shame, because overall they had good grip and feel, but I am not going to spend another 50 euros for a shoe to fall apart in a month with no significant use AT ALL!
