The IWH-19SM instant water heater from Crown has a maximum power of 3 kW and is suitable for the home, the cottage, or anywhere else you want to have instant and economical hot water. It operates on electric power and is single-phase.

While a classic water heater heats a large amount of water consuming a lot of energy and time, the instant water heater does not have a hot water storage tank and heats only the water that passes through it. Thus, in a short time, you have hot water only when you need it and only for the amount you are using at that moment. This makes it an economical solution, while it also has a longer lifespan since there is no water tank, and therefore no accumulation of salts on the resistance and other components.

As long as you have the tap open, you will have hot water that is used directly, without mixing with cold water as happens with the classic water heater. Of course, a necessary condition for it to work is that the pressure of the incoming cold water is not too low. In cases of lower inlet temperatures in winter and higher in summer, performance may vary accordingly.

It is easily and quickly installed on the kitchen sink and fully replaces the classic faucet. It is easy to use and maintain and serves everyday needs such as washing hands or dishes.

It is equipped with an integrated digital display that shows you the water temperature and also allows you to select it yourself. The maximum temperature it can reach for hot water production is 50 °C, while the maximum water flow rate reaches up to 34 liters per minute.

Indicatively, 38-42 °C degrees are standard for shower use.

I installed it in 5 minutes, it just needs to be able to screw onto the faucet spout with the right adapter. In order to work properly, it requires a low flow as it heats up at that moment and raises the temperature in 20 seconds. With a strong flow, it doesn't raise the temperature at all, which is why I give it 4 stars. For its price, it is very good.

There were no instructions on how to install it, there is no temperature adjustment only from the water pressure as far as I understood. It heats the water very well, so it does its job, but you need to search a bit for where it will release water with the temperature because there is no temperature setting.

    It works as it should. Obviously, it's not for heavy use. To fit into some old kitchen, a faucet that never had hot water is just fine. It won't produce boiling water, but it will be good enough to wash 2 dishes or just your hands.

    It will heat up just enough, and essentially the temperature is regulated by the flow of water. We reduce the cold to get hotter water.

    The display worked literally for one day and never again, but that's okay.

    It comes with all the possible adapters to fit onto the faucet's spout.

    Great care should be taken that it is 3KW and the supply/socket it will be plugged into should be suitable to avoid burning out.
