It is aimed at both amateur and professional musicians and can be used either as a Drum Machine or as an ideal complement to an acoustic drum set, enriching the performance, while it can be connected to a computer if realistic drum and percussion sounds are required.

The DTX-Multi 12 borrows a significant portion from the sound library of the Motif XS and includes a multitude of sounds from percussion as well as effects essential for the modern musician. In total, the DTX-Multi 12 includes 1227 sounds, among which we find:
