My advice is to place pieces of wood (e.g., toothpicks) under the plate and in the damaged holes with wood glue so that the corresponding screws can be screwed in better.

Very good product for its job. The installation is done easily and quickly. It holds much better in wood than wood screws. They delivered it to me with 2 sheet metal screws and 4 wood screws for each sheet. The product was the same as the photo.
