  It takes a micro USB port and batteries, I don't know if it charges them when it is connected.
  The price is indeed a bit high, but at least you are getting it for quality light and not cheap imitations, it is OEM (original equipment manufacturer).

  But I would prefer if it had some small extra adjustments,

  It is fantastic for a gaming room. Perhaps the best lighting fixture out of all the others. You connect it to the USB port of the PlayStation and it turns on whenever you turn on the console. Simply amazing!!!
