  I wanted to buy it for a long time but I was confused about its functions and capabilities.
  1. Very good and easy connection and installation, only two holes in the wall to put the base.
  2. It has batteries but it also connects with the wires from your existing doorbell so you don't have to take it out and charge it. My house is from 1971 and the power is enough to charge it, so you can relax.
  3. You can now choose from the app menu whether your existing doorbell will ring or it will ring from the homebase or it will be in completely silent mode and will only notify you on your phone when someone rings the doorbell.
  4. Huge range with the two cameras, you can see everything outside your door with quite good image quality and night vision.
  5. Very good addition of the white LED light that turns on when it detects motion, allowing you to see, for example, to put the key in the door if you haven't turned on the lights, but it also draws the attention of someone approaching with another purpose who sees that there is a camera and leaves quickly.
  The installation was done with a simple drill to put in the 2 anchors and screw the base in 3 minutes, I connected the 2 wires from the old doorbell at the back with two screws and that was it.
  The only possibly negative thing is that it leaves a gap from your old doorbell, but my hands were busy so I put some paper inside the old doorbell box and filled it with ready acrylic filler that dries in about an hour, a little sanding with 100-grit sandpaper and two strokes of paint and perfect result.
  It's worth it a thousand times and I might regret not getting the newer model.
  TIP If you want to have a view of what's happening outside your door and also have a doorbell, I have put a small UPS on the modem for €25 where even during a power outage I have internet and I also got the battery that comes out for the homebase to record even during an outage, so in all conditions, you are covered.
