They are comfortably wide enough for me. I believe those with wide feet will have a good fit. I always take half or one size larger so they don't pinch me and I can wear them in winter with thick socks. The size is very good; I wear 38.5 and got them in 39. Unfortunately, they creased from the first time I wore them and my toes hurt where the friction occurs; I hope the same doesn't happen with the other boots
