I have tried 3 other footrests, 1 plastic, 1 plastic with a metal base, 1 metal. This one is the best. Sturdy construction, very good ergonomics, and comfort in use. It stays in the desired position easily. I only worry that the pads underneath might wear out quickly. Other than that, it is an excellent footrest.

Definitely a good purchase. Very stable even on a carpet with a high pile. Good adjustment of the tilt angle and two height settings that lock in predetermined positions with metal pins.

Now let's get to the problem. If you have big feet, even at the lowest setting, your feet will still find themselves on top of the desk, which can be annoying.

It should be noted that the chair is at its highest height and the desk height is normal.

In conclusion, a tip:
Put a towel with the dimensions of the platform. With double-sided tape.
This way it will look nice and you will be able to clean the surface without wearing out the platform.

I am very satisfied with this product. It has nothing to do with the usual plastic ones. Very good quality construction, easy assembly and adjustment of height and position. This extra railing is very helpful for resting your leg. I do not regret my purchase, I recommend it!

Sturdy construction footrest, it is very convenient, comfortable, stable, and does not slip, at least on the laminate floor that I have placed it on. Its surface is covered with carpet/felt, which makes it comfortable and nice to the touch. On the other hand, occasionally it needs to be fluffed due to friction with shoes/slippers, and I don't know how long the carpet will stay in good condition. However, this footrest has helped me so much that I would definitely buy it again!
