Description

Anti-slip snow cloths (snow blanket) from the company ARO, of Bulgarian origin, designed in Canada and manufactured in Europe from special 600D polyester fabric with a coarse weave in red color with black details.

A product, absolutely safe and durable, that meets all the necessary specifications and current regulations for driving in conditions where there is snow and ice.

An ideal car accessory, fully compatible with all passenger vehicles, such as four-wheel drive (4W), cars with low clearance and limited gap between tire and body (wheel arch), latest sport version cars, cars equipped with aluminum rims, without causing damage, as well as with all cars that have electronic safety systems ESP, ABS, ETS, ASR, DSC, etc., without affecting their operation. 

The anti-slip snow cloths are a practical and functional solution, capable of replacing the use of conventional chains, without affecting driving behavior or causing noise, vibrations, etc., as long as the driver adheres to a maximum speed limit of 40 km/h (max). 

They are very easy and quick to apply, within a few minutes, even in adverse weather conditions. After application, they have the ability to self-center while driving, so no additional stops are needed to manually align them. 

Material: Durable 600D polyester fabric.

Suitable product for: Snow, ice, mud (semi-melted snow). 

NOTE: The anti-slip cloths must always be placed on the 2 driving wheels, while in cases of four-wheel drive (4W) it is recommended to use anti-slip cloths on all the vehicle's wheels.

ATTENTION

It has been observed that drivers who have previously used snow chains on their wheels neglect to remove the cloth from the tires in situations where their application is not necessary (such as continuous use on "clean" roads free of snow or ice), resulting in unnecessary wear of the product. For proper use, maintenance, and storage, we recommend that you carefully read all the included instructions. It is not intended for tires with studs and for use on clean roads. It is recommended for use on snow, slush, and ice at speeds less than 40 km/h, as is the case with conventional chains. Avoid continuous acceleration and sudden braking to increase longevity. Do not use the product before it has dried and thawed after use.

    I didn't need them yet this year in order to have a more complete opinion. However, I did a couple of test installations and they fit easily like the previous ones I had. In my case (I got the XL size), they happened to fit both on the jeep and on the passenger car, but generally pay attention to the size. The packaging doesn't have any gloves and the cardboard box it comes in will dissolve even if you never use them. At 20-25 euros, there's no discussion and not just so that they don't write you up. In case of need, they can save you from an accident and save you from getting stuck or freezing somewhere.

    Unacceptable quality and price. Only in Greece will you find such snow blankets being sold without any certification. I couldn't find them anywhere in Europe.     I bought them about two years ago and I had to put them on today to leave Agios Athanasios, which had 20 inches of snow. After struggling a lot to put them on with the help of the hotel owner, it took us almost an hour to put them on, and it took just as long to take them off. They wouldn't come off at all, and at one point, the seams even opened. I bought them because they are supposed to be easier to put on than regular chains. Stay away.

    I bought them after I had a blast while descending Kalavryta and I said I will never do this again. I tried them on ice and even on fresh untouched snow of 5 centimeters. No problem, except for the shaking I had when I was reversing with the steering wheel locked. Be careful, I didn't push them to the limit, when I put them on I went at most 30 km/h because I was afraid they would slip. They are worth the 20 euros no matter what.

    Maybe in order to put them on more easily, you should go for a larger size than you should.. the issue is that then I imagine they will come off more easily on the way.. here, I, who put them on with force, stopped 6 times for a distance of 2 kilometers at a speed of 10 kilometers because they were coming off.
