For 3.5 years old, I don't think it's understandable. At 4, they somewhat started to grasp it and have some questions for us to discuss. I believe it's more suitable for children from 5 years old. Nevertheless, it is a wonderful book with many stimuli for discussion, and well-written so that children can recognize intentions.
Excellent book! My little one (4 years old) understood about the "bad" crab from the characters' expressions. Amazing illustrations! The way it is read by the person reading also helps the little ones to understand the meaning of the story.
Amazing illustrations, content, and messages. Kudos to the contributors. A book about consent that should not be missing from any children's library
Amazing book for approaching issues of sexual education. At the end, it has many excellent ideas for activities that can be done in the classroom.
Excellent for children aged 3.5 to 6 years old, it has very nice poems that narrate the story of the seashell and shows very descriptively how the seashell should not feel guilty because the bad crab dragged it away from its mother.
My 3-year-old son really liked the book and the story was very good, nice colors and illustrations
