Quality sound with good bass, I am not satisfied with the Bluetooth connectivity, it doesn't always detect it and I waste time on the connection, although it had an upgrade and improved a bit, it remains annoying. Its battery is a black dog. For €370 it's good
Perhaps one of the best purchases I have made this year. Incredible battery life even at 100% volume, crystal clear sound, unbelievably deep bass (at low to medium volumes). If it's within budget, don't look at anything else.

Excellent portable speaker if you want powerful music, especially for outdoor spaces. Note that the sound is directional (at the front) as there is no speaker at the back.
At 100% battery, it lasts for about 10-12 hours of operation, which is more than enough, for example, for a party.
Very nice product with very good sound and bass when you turn it up to the maximum the bass of course decreases but fortunately JBL has made sure to keep it strong and stable also has an equalizer from the JBL application which makes it have differences in sound. From bb1 to bb3, the 3 has a more premium build with better bass and a more balanced sound, impressions after a while. Edit: For 2 weeks I had both bb1 and bb3 simultaneously, now bb1 is enjoyed in Corfu by its new owner. As for the sound now, V shape is finally over, JBL finally remembered that there are midrange frequencies in the sound spectrum, resulting in bb3 sounding cleaner, warmer, more relaxed, its bass is lighter, lower than bb2 and quite lower than bb1 but not a crazy difference, especially with bb2 it is almost the same, in the highs it is the same as bb1 and better than bb2, bb1 sounds louder than bb2 due to the exaggerated highs, but bb2 sounds fuller with slightly better lows, bb3 is a completely different implementation in terms of speaker arrangement, with a woofer for the lows, 2 midrange, and 2 tweeters, JBL kept the good aspects of bb1 and bb2 and tuned it much better resulting in it sounding better and more powerful than its siblings. Appearance, it definitely looks fresher, more premium but also heavier than bb1 and bb2, the fact that it integrated the power supply is positive because we all have such a cable at home, but it is also negative because it adds weight and if it burns out, the speaker needs to be opened. Mounting base, here we laugh, JBL puts these little stripes to support a speaker that weighs almost 7 kg? If you look at the reviews of the Charge 5, there are complaints from owners that pieces come off the strips. Application, here JBL is working us, it's not possible JBL to ask for this money (some paid 500+ €) and not provide a 10-band EQ, no you haven't made the perfect speaker, you probably think you're Apple! Now if the transition from bb1-bb2 to bb3 is worth it, if you love music I will say yes, the midrange frequencies make the real difference, among the 3, in bb3 the voices sound in the right place and not in the background, now if you want it only for the beach and electronic music then bb1 as well as bb2 are fine. Oluv and Alan are good but the final judge is your ears. Off topic but I replaced the very good Flip Essential 1 (stereo) due to age not with Flip Essential 2 (mono) nor with Flip 6 (mono) nor with Charge 5 (mono) but with the little gem in the photo. I hope bb4 doesn't make it monophonic because I will wave a handkerchief at you.
Finally, after months (May 2024), they released the application so that the speaker doesn't turn off! I give it 5 stars again. The JBL BOOMBOX 3 is the best and most powerful speaker with crystal clear sound in its category. And at the price of €349.00 that I bought it, it's worth every penny at 100%
It is unacceptable that you cannot connect the regular boombox 3 with the boombox 3 wifi. You spend 500 euros when a speaker with the latest JBL connectivity technology (partyboost) comes out, and after a year it releases its updated version with wifi and dolby atmos, and the company tells you that you cannot connect it with the SAME model. It's really a shame. Hopefully, there will be an update in the software for them to connect with each other. As the owner of the regular boombox 3 that I intended to buy, I will definitely go and buy the regular boombox 3 again, which I can connect together. Also, the sound in the new one doesn't have such a big difference that it's worth 150 euros more than the original price of the regular boombox 3. So now that the regular one is priced at 350 and the boombox 3 wifi at 650, the company simply tells you not to buy it.
Owner of JBL Extreme 3, the upgrade to Boombox 3 wifi is chaotic. The sound it produces and its bass are out of this world! It turns your house into a cinema room, like a soundbar with Dolby Atmos. The only negative is its weight, but you know that when you press the power on, it uplifts your mood. It also has a delay in connecting with the JBL One app, but I believe they will fix it with an update. Weight is 6.9kg with the strap from JBL Extreme 3, the speaker itself is 6.7kg. LFM is no longer available!
I bought it a few days ago for 420 and had a big party on the beach with this and the JBL Extreme 3 connected through PartyBoost. In terms of volume, they covered us just enough at full blast. The truth is, I was expecting a bit more from the Boombox 3, maybe about 20% louder would have been perfect. In terms of battery life, it lasted us the whole night without any issues, playing continuously for 7-8 hours, and still had a little bit left at the end (it lasts about 24 hours at 50% volume, from what I know). The sound balance and quality were impeccable, as always with JBL. What stood out was that it's the first speaker I've heard that doesn't decrease the bass when you increase the volume. Usually, with other speakers, when you turn up the volume, only the treble gets louder, but this one maintains a perfect balance along with the bass (probably thanks to the central subwoofer it has). Lastly, I would like to mention that the build quality is very good overall, with a sturdy handle. I even added a strap to make it easier to carry.

The JBL BOOMBOX 3 is the best and the most powerful speaker with crystal clear sound in its category. And at the 349.00 euros I bought it for, it's worth every penny 100%. And with the new firmware update 0.7.0.5, the speaker is a powerhouse!
