At €50, it's not worth it for me. The buttons and the D-pad make noise. In terms of connectivity, it keeps disconnecting from gog, which is annoying. I haven't tried it on Steam. It works well on the Switch. In terms of weight, it's good; it gives you a sense of quality and sturdiness. I don't know about durability. Regarding the disconnections, after an update I did, the firmware seemed to be fixed for a while, but ultimately it was a flop. The reason I bought it was to play old games on gog and occasionally on the Switch. It failed at the first. A PS5 controller on sale is a much better choice for me since it has never disconnected.

It is a wonderful controller. It is recognized by the computer as an Xbox controller, making it compatible with many games. You can also connect it to your mobile phone, as long as it allows you to use it in games. Unfortunately, my mobile phone (Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro) does not allow me to use any controller in several games, unlike other phones like Samsung. Nevertheless, it connects properly to the mobile phone and allows me to use it in certain games. It is also compatible with Nintendo and works perfectly there as well. Only in one game it cannot be recognized, so I am forced to use the joycons to play, but all the other games are fine. If you are not comfortable with controllers that have the structure of an Xbox controller and are used to playing with PlayStation controllers, then this product will be very useful and user-friendly for you. One thing I forgot to mention is that it has a removable rechargeable battery, which can be replaced with regular non-rechargeable AAA batteries, but I don't see the reason to do that.

Worth the money! Has right amount of weight, not flimsy or super light like usual 3rd party controllers. This actually feels quality made.
Easy to install. We tested it with Android, PC and PS Vita; all functional! You can even set up remote play from PC via Steam and play through your Android phone! Note, that our PCs are laptops with built in bluetooth.

The Ultimate Software app, which is used for mapping and calibrating the buttons, requires the location to be enabled on the mobile device (from the notification bar) in order to connect. When you install the application, it asks for permission for the location, but it doesn't tell you anywhere that you also need to enable it yourself when connecting the controller. Nice the first period remote control but in durability it gets 0... It is not possible for a remote control of 50€ for the casing of the joysticks to fall apart in 1.5 years.
Edit: In 3 years both joysticks have worn out completely (all the rubber has come off) and today the device stopped giving any signs of life.

Review from the perspective of a PC user.
Having an Xbox One Controller, which is the gold standard but has become relatively old, I decided to get an extra one as a backup and also to have a different option.
I ended up choosing this one because it offers different features such as better access to a (better) D-pad for more retro situations and Tetris, which I play a lot, as well as motion gyroscope controls that are useful for emulators and other games through the Steam API and other software (DSForWindows, BetterJoy, etc.), as well as native support for Android. In fact, Switch emulators recognize it natively as a Switch Controller.
It has a switch that allows you to switch between Switch, Android, Xbox, and Apple modes, so it works natively without relying on software. It should be noted that some Android games, like Oddmar, which didn't recognize the Xbox Controller, worked perfectly fine with this one. For Android, 8bitdo also offers a separate mobile phone holder that does its job well.
An excellent feature is the 3+1 internal memories it has for each mode, where you can easily remap the controls, set some of them to turbo-repeat mode, or even create macros through the Android app (without losing connection to your PC). It also has 2 extra buttons under the grips, which are very convenient for remapping.
It can be connected to a PC either with a cable (the one included in the package could be a bit longer, but it is usable from a short distance) or via Bluetooth. The only downside with Bluetooth is related to the general instability of the protocol in the Windows environment, not the device itself. In most cases, it works fine, but in situations where even a millisecond matters, I would recommend using a cable. The wireless connection of the Xbox Controller through its adapter is definitely more stable.
Now let's talk about the subjective aspect, which is the feel of the controller. Personally, I like the way it feels and the build quality. If you play for many hours, the Xbox controller is slightly more comfortable due to the position of the left analog stick, which is also slightly larger and more spherical, but the difference is minimal. The analog sticks of the 8bitdo controller have the necessary resistance, the D-pad is very responsive and comfortable, and the extra buttons on the grips are very helpful. The rumble is also satisfactory.
It is very important that you have access to its battery, and if it weakens after years and you can't find a replacement, you can remove it and use regular AA batteries.
In summary, it is a very well-designed and high-quality product, a true Swiss army knife, excellent as both a first and second choice for a PC gamer.
P.S. The only strange thing I can criticize about it as a PC controller is that there is no official application that reliably shows the battery percentage, not even the Android app. There is only a red light on the controller. On PC, the Xbox GameBar shows the battery icon (full, half, empty), and the only software that displayed the percentage for me was DS4Windows (for example, the GameBar showed a full icon, but DS4Windows showed 75%).

Now I have it for over 6 months and I really like it. I have played several platformers and I had no problem. The only negative is that when I need to plug in a cable... the one it comes with in the box is short. Just a detail since you can use a longer one, I just mention it. Overall, I am very satisfied and I highly recommend it.
Edit: One year later, the left joystick now sticks to a point where it is no longer functional. I bought another controller from a different brand and this one went into the drawer of retirement

First of all, let me say that the title of the remote control says (GAMEPAD FOR ANDROID).
I purchased this product with the goal of being able to play all mobile games more easily. But in the end, this is not true.
Many games (especially the new ones) do not allow you to connect with a remote control as it is considered cheating for those who do not have one!
There is an application called Octopus that supposedly allows you to play all games with a controller, which when opened, gives you two options: either to purchase the pro version or to purchase another application called Panda in order to play, for example, PUBG. Both of these have many negative reviews.
I made the mistake of purchasing the pro version of Octopus and although I can play a few games, it does not allow me to log in to my account to continue from where I left off.
To run Octopus, you have to open the game through the application.
Be very careful, kids. It's not worth it, really...

At first it seemed good to me, but after 2 months the problems started. The DPAD became very loose and the analog sticks started drifting, even though I rarely use them. The battery may seem impressive, but if you look into it, it's because the polling rate is locked at 125hz, resulting in a lot of input lag (28ms). The Dualshock 4 runs constantly at 500hz (3ms) and can be overclocked to 1000hz (0.01ms), resulting in much better input lag.

Due to the unacceptable Greek representation that only cares about temporary profit by deceiving consumers, I recommend this product with reservations and give it two stars. Let me explain. After about 10 months of use, the RT button completely broke and the RB button was on the verge, sometimes working and sometimes not. I sent it to the 8bitdo representative in Athens, Conceptum, confident that they would either fix it or replace it since it was still under warranty. After their engineer checked it, they told me that they would not assist me. I asked them why, since it is obvious that it is in perfect external condition, scratch-free, and I did take good care of it and it has never been dropped or hit. They replied that it was due to misuse. So, what should I do, press the buttons slowly and carefully in games like Dark Souls and Sekiro to prevent it from breaking? Should I only play walking simulators? If it can't handle slightly intense gaming, they should just leave it. Dualshock, Dualsense, Xbox controllers haven't had any issues after so many years, not in just 10 months. It is indeed very ergonomic, but there are other users who complain about material defects and lack of replacement by the representative.

Tremendously ergonomic design. The best grip on a controller that I have ever tried. Truly comfortable. Nice material that doesn't creak. The extra buttons on the back are placed well and easily reachable. The grips have a slight texture that makes the grip even better. It connects instantly to any device you want (Windows, Android, etc.). Also, the 8Bitdo software for button customizations is nice.
Its battery life is very good. The battery lasts 2-3 times longer compared to the Dualshock 4, which I had to charge every day.
Now, in general, the buttons could be better. The triggers are a bit soft with relatively short travel distance, the analog sticks have a low profile, and the D-pad feels somewhat "heavy," so after some time in games like platformers, it starts to feel tiring.
Regardless, it is a very ergonomic controller and one of my favorites.
