I got it for Christmas 2022. Compared to a 2016 NUC (6th generation i7) that I also have, it is much quieter (compared to the first days of operation of the NUC) and I have the impression that it cools much better. Very nice and user-friendly BIOS environment, just like the NUC of course. BIOS updates are released very frequently (through the ASUS website) which seem to be synchronized with specific updates of Windows 11. Continuing... with installed Windows 11 and various running Linux VMs, it has no problem handling them. The 32GB DDR5 memory and 1TB NVME disk help (be careful to choose these modules from the lists provided by ASUS for compatibility reasons). It also has a SATA 3 port if desired. It opens and closes very easily for the installation of various modules. I mainly use it for programming. It runs all the well-known Microsoft programs flawlessly (office, visio), fast 3D rendering with unreal engine, etc. It can be placed on the back of the screen as the necessary components are included in the package. Personally, I did not do it to have more grilles (the one side must essentially close to be placed behind the screen. It cannot be done otherwise) open and ventilate better. It works perfectly fine with the 4K 32'' screen I have and it doesn't seem to struggle at all with the resolution. The onboard graphics card also supports many new games at reasonable FPS and resolutions, but I don't play, so I can't give an opinion. Don't forget to dust off the grilles. They easily collect dust. For those who don't have space on their desk or want to easily transport their PC, it is one of the most powerful and cost-effective solutions.
