I believe that at some discount it is worth better because it is a small game. Although the €50 that is its original price is very good for what it offers
Although many people didn't like the return to the old, I loved it. Classic action, without worrying about leveling. However, the known issues of Ubisoft are present, but at 25 euros it's worth it. Also, it has a free upgrade to PS5.
Good effort to go for assassins creed with Altair.
In the positives, I would put the story, as well as the city of Baghdad. Also, nice sound, with some nice details.
Very mediocre gameplay. There are very few skills, of course I can't know if they wanted to invest in the simplicity that the initial ac had.
In the negatives, a very small game. I finished it with the platinum achievement on the 28th. I consider 35€ too much for such a game, so small overall.
As a whole, a mediocre to good effort.
Well, after about 5-6 hours of gameplay, I have the following to say:
On the positive side: good story.
On the negative side: mediocre to poor gameplay, graphics reminiscent of a game that was taken from the past and made to be played in 2024. Overall, it seems rushed, which is not something we are accustomed to from Ubisoft... It is light years away from the story, graphics, and gameplay of Odyssey, Valhalla, and even Black Flag.
Very good! Finally a traditional AC
Good morning, friend of Masa' Alkhayr,
POSITIVES
+ Beautiful rendering and depiction of Baghdad
+ Multiple ways to approach a goal
+ Beautiful art direction and pleasing music
+ Simple skill tree
+ Well-designed missions
+ Ideal duration [Close to 40 hours for platinum]
NEGATIVES
- Poorly designed, simple, and not enjoyable battle system
Beautiful graphics, older battle tactics (before AC Origins). It is not a big or complex game, equivalent to its price (35€ - 40€).
It took me 2-3 tries to find the mindset of the game, it really reminds me a lot of the original Al Taïr phase but with the "modern" game engine of Ubisoft. I'm halfway through the game and so far I'm satisfied with the assassinations and how you have to play it to lure someone where you want. It definitely needed some polishing but on the other hand.. what game doesn't? Once I finish it, I will come back to update the comment. 4 out of 5 from me so far.
The game goes back to its roots. 4 stars because the combat was very basic and the story, if you have played enough assassins, is relatively predictable. Nevertheless, a very good game.
My opinion: you can't release such a game after the exceptional Origins - Odyssey - Valhalla. Boring to the point of disgust, I didn't like it at all, the gameplay in combat was very basic and I didn't like the running either, the graphics on the ps4 were worse than a game from five years ago. It definitely had more connection to the old assassins' games overall, but the experience was generally mediocre.
The game truly returns to its roots, the graphics are good, the parkour is very good, and the map is smaller than the last 3 Assassin's Creed games, but this makes it better because it reminds you of a true Assassin's Creed game and not an open world RPG. However, it receives 4 stars due to the combat, which is poor with few moves and not many options in case 4-5 people jump at you.
Bad and very heavy gameplay, boring compared to the previous three. Such a shame.
