Purchased 2-3 weeks ago, used daily with dual boot Manjaro Linux, Windows 11 mainly for running multiple virtual machines (vagrant, kvm, virtualbox, docker, etc.) for simulating complete IT infrastructures (VMs/IaaS Infrastructure, etc.) mainly with DevOps technologies and proof of concepts. I chose a Barebone when I realized that I almost never use a PC/Laptop in places without power outlets and screens. Also, I wouldn't simulate infrastructures on an airplane or in a café, so I personally don't need a laptop, but at the same time, I wanted portability. The mini-pc is really mini in size and very convenient.
Perhaps the best processor I found in a Barebone on Skroutz with very good specs for what I want to do. No complaints so far. If you think that laptops with this processor start at twice the price, of course, they include a screen, hard drive, and memory, but still, I believe the price is a good deal. Although I wanted 2x32GB memory, I was afraid I might have a problem. They say it doesn't support more than 32GB of memory, so I bought 2x16GB modules.
Temperatures with 2 memory modules, 1 nvme, and 1 ssd are idle at 40C and reach a maximum of 70C under load for a very short time and never exceeded that during compiles that utilize all cores. I also use Power Delivery USB-C with a Ugreen 140W power supply/charger that I bought separately without any problems.
I recommend it for tasks like the ones mentioned above.
