Flawless shoe. I got them for my everyday walking as well as for posture. They have reinforced support and are the best for the use I want them for. They remain lightweight. I chose these after the nimbus 24 and I don't regret it. In Nike and Asics, I wore size 44.5 or 45, in these I chose size 45 and 1/3 and I got the exact fit.

After months of use, inside the shoe, at the back and sides upwards, they have worn out noticeably. I will upload photos as well. I consider this to indicate lower construction quality than what I initially perceived and it definitely does not deserve this price. I deduct one star because, well, I have walked in them a lot. They remain equally comfortable and lightweight.

Shoe purchased in September '23 for which the company claimed an initial price of €180, ends up in this condition (worn out internally with holes that cause blisters even though the size is correct for my foot) by May '24 with simple everyday use in the office. It definitely is not worth its money due to its quality, even though I didn't buy it at its original price (if I remember correctly, I got it somewhere around €110).
The fit is just okay, not up to my expectations for this company.
It should be noted that it had already been damaged when I first got it, as the sole had a strange outline on the outer surface. However, after a few wears, it took the shape of my foot and was fine. So I didn't make it an issue in my initial review.
Unfortunately, I have now come back with a very negative opinion, seeing its performance within less than a year of use. I would not buy it again.

  I wanted a shoe that could keep me comfortable during long hours of standing and walking, and that could support a weight of 120kg and a height of 2.0m without difficulty.
  The Bondi 8 does that and more.
  I would say it is more of an everyday walking shoe than a running shoe.
  This particular color, besides being very beautiful, is also very convenient as it can easily be paired with jeans.
  175 euros is a bit steep, but Hoka often goes on sale at various stores and on Skroutz, of course. Add them to your "favorites" and wait for the next price drop.

  By far the worst Bondi I have ever worn, in the past I had bought the 4, 5, and 7 and because the 7 set high expectations I was almost blown away when I tried the 8, the 7 can't be more comfortable than the 8, having them for 2 years, the line is quite narrow like the 4 and 5 but definitely not comfortable at all, you can't call them max cushion at all, a far cry from the old greatness of Hoka.

  I would give it one star, the bondi 6 was my first introduction to Hoka and I loved it, I would give it 10 stars. Then I went to the X, bought it twice, and now this one, and it will probably be the last Hoka I buy. It cannot have such hard fabrics and the holes from the laces to have protruding squares that rub on the feet, it bothers me a lot. Now the fabric, apart from the aforementioned problem, has good breathability. Tongue with elastic that holds the foot and this, combined with the holes, probably bothers me. Very good sole, soft with stable and very good grip. Very good responsiveness that helps a lot in running and very good response on all terrains.   This particular shoe left me with mixed impressions. In the first 20km, its positives are the shock absorption, flexibility, and durability. I would say it is a recovery shoe, especially after a race and specifically for fast walking and very light running. I got hit on the calves during sprints on the right foot's sole and felt discomfort throughout the entire lower right extremity. I thought maybe it needs to be broken in, we'll see, I'll come back to it.

  I gave it a second chance (here I want to emphasize that the parameters of a shoe differ from person to person). I changed socks, always running, pace, speed, and I noticed quite a bit of fatigue on positive elevation on a road that I never experienced with ultra shoes, exactly the opposite on downhill slopes, perfect shock absorption but in general, things got worse during the second trial. My advice before making any purchase is to visit rununreaper.com where any question will be answered.
