Excellent construction and image quality. Easy installation, 3 days of free cloud recording, and a wide-angle lens of almost 180 degrees. Minus 1 star because I had issues with notifications until the latest version of the app, now they come regularly and instantly. Plus 1 star for Skroutz's support in resolving the problem.
Good in everything but if it disconnects from the third day, then it's garbage......in this particular holiday home I have 2 other Xiaomi cameras and there has never been a disconnection for about a year.....
update after 2 and a half months of use, there have been 4 disconnections. Each disconnection occurs on average every 20 days. In the first disconnections, if someone pressed the doorbell, the connection would be restored, while the 2 times it returned after someone passed in front of it. In the last disconnection, however, I had to connect it myself after a reset. If you have it in your home, the disconnections don't bother you, but if you have it somewhere far away, then someone has to go and press the doorbell, maybe it will connect

Bought from the xiaomi store. It doesnt work. There is HUGE network issues on an extremely easy network with multiple redundant mesh nodes very close to the doorbell on the 2.4ghz network and its 80% of the time disconnected. I only occasionally get notifications. I wouldnt buy it even if it was 20 euros. This is third bad Xiaomi product, never again!

Very mediocre in terms of its connection to the network and usability. With an extender at 6 meters and a speed measured at 80 next to it, this gives a connection quality of 50%. You cannot see the remaining battery, you cannot test the connection speed, and the notifications are very delayed. I was not satisfied at all
Almost impossible to connect to the home's wifi, it must strictly be 2.4, not 5. It takes a long time to upload the information so it never connects, thus you miss the important features, i.e. photos and notifications.

I have it for work, I will get it for my home too.
It is good. It works well. No need for holes in the wall, there are no wires. It does not take a memory card, with the positives and negatives that this entails. It has an alarm for someone who might want to remove it. The battery lasts quite a while. It stores in Xiaomi for a few seconds for three days, to see who passed by your door or rang the bell. You can talk to the person outside. Negatives are that it takes a little time to start and sometimes you see the back. It would be good if it were a bit more wide-angle in my opinion. Another negative is that it probably doesn't look like a camera, so if you want something for intimidation or deterrence, get something else that looks like a camera, not a doorbell.
Three stars because by the time the notification arrives, you see who it is, and you go to open it, the person has already gotten bored and left. The whole scenario takes too long. On Android, when you tap the notification, the app does NOT open for some reason. You have to go find it, open it, and see what's going on. Too many steps and a lot of delay. The notification and the camera opening should be immediate with a single click on the notification. Of course, at this price, you don't expect anything better. Also, for some reason, it no longer loads the live feed so you can see what's happening outside live. It used to do that at first.
The doorbell is a good product for its category, the battery life is good, it has immediate response and notification on the phone. Its downsides are that with continuous recording the battery runs out relatively quickly. For its low price, it does its job adequately.
Excellent Doorbell, great autonomy, slight delay in notification appearances which is probably due to the Mi Home app, it gives you a different sense of security.

I read the comments but unfortunately decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, I shouldn't have. While everything was fine at first, as soon as I took it out and put it to charge, the problems began. It doesn't connect to the indoor doorbell and it doesn't send me a notification when someone presses it! I've been struggling for 2 days to figure it out and nothing unfortunately. I had to delete it and reinstall it for it to finally work

At first it worked fine, with a slight delay in notifications. However, I switched to fiber and with the new Cosmote router it doesn't connect at all. I changed all the settings, tried everything but no luck. So, buying it, although economical, is a risk.
It was purchased for 28 euros from the e-shop about a month ago. It works perfectly, I have no disconnections and notifications come normally. The basic requirement is to have a Wi-Fi signal strength quality above 70% (see device info), meaning to be close to the modem-router or extender, otherwise you will experience delays in notifications. Overall, very good and economical, and it works perfectly.
Although I have several Xiaomi products such as thermometers, cameras, sensors, etc., I was a little skeptical about this one due to the comments I saw here. I took the risk and bought it for 30€ and I was not disappointed. The disconnections that some people write about, saying that they have to press the bell to reconnect the camera, are settings that you can fix through the application. So far, I have not experienced any disconnections or anything. It works properly, notifications come with motion, and overall it works as it should, I have no problems.
There are issues with the app. Does not notify me when there is movement that triggers a recording. I’m using an iPhone 14pro
Easy and quick installation with adhesive on a shared hallway door. Connects directly to the Xiaomi Home app. Immediate camera response to motion detection and notification. It has not disconnected for me so far as others have reported. I do not have an opinion on battery life yet, but within two weeks it consumed 11% with continuous recording and significant movement in the hallway. Value for money purchase at 31€.
Connected once, disconnected and never connected again. I have a Xiaomi phone and I'm thinking maybe that's the problem. I tried everything and from the manual. Does any friend know something that can help?
Flawless in everything fast connection
Everything is good with the setup, the image, and how quickly the notification bells respond, etc. However, every time I connect, it drops the wifi of my mobile and sometimes the wifi of the house... the reason is still unknown... but other than that, for the price I got it (28€) and with a 2-year warranty, I would say I am satisfied overall.
It is quite good but it gave me a hard time connecting to Mi Home because it kept crashing during installation. Additionally, it requires a strong internet connection if you want to use the voice call feature, otherwise, it has a significant lag
