Material

• The material is good and the mouse glides beautifully on it.
• It doesn't rub your hand as you drag it across like some other mouse pads do.
• Things generally don't slide around on it, like the keyboard; it stays stable on it and doesn't get pushed around during use.
• Not ideal for cat owners, my cat sometimes tries to curl up on it and while it can leave small scratches, I should note that it's not very intense, wanting to conclude that it is quite durable.

RGB

• It's not the strongest RGB I've seen, and like most RGB mousepads, the light diminishes slightly as it moves away from the adapter, but it still remains quite good to very good.
• As for the slightly higher price for the XXL, the same price for the XL compared to Corsair's equivalent is simply 1000 times more desirable. Before I bought this, I had purchased Corsair's and the RGB up to the opposite corner from the adapter was 99% off without any exaggeration. So I don't know if there's anything better at a similar price that competes with it. I ended up returning the Corsair and buying this one.

Software

• Based on experience, I would say it's generally okay. It may seem quite good and functional for someone who hasn't used many peripherals software, but for me, it's not good enough and I don't like the RGB settings in modes. It could be better and have some basic modes like having a background color and another color cycling on the mousepad, but that doesn't exist. The software is strictly for Razer mice and keyboards but is not uniformly compatible with the Goliathus.
• The colors you can set with the software are a fail. For example, if I set orange, it looks red; if you set purple, it looks blue; if you set blue, it appears light blue. You can achieve exactly the color you want, but the color palette doesn't help at all, and you have to make several attempts until you get it right. I don't have any other Razer peripheral to compare if the fail is only on the mousepad, so I can't say more.

Size ─

• The size is really huge, guys. It's good to measure your desk exactly before purchasing because it's very easy to end up needing to exchange it. Personally, it fits perfectly on my desk (I have a larger mousepad, but there's a gap on my desk for cable management, and it continues behind, but it fits perfectly up to the gap) so it has served me excellently and really gives a full premium look to my setup. If you utilize it with the right peripherals, it will simply be beautiful, but if you get a mini keyboard without a numpad and don't have a second monitor, for example, then it will protrude quite a bit more than the peripherals and may not look as nice.

Cleanliness

• ALL RGB keyboards have issues with cleanliness as there is a risk of damaging the RGB, so you have to do it manually. At first, I cleaned it with wet wipes. Then I cleaned it with a soft sponge and a little detergent. Now, without fear, I have switched to a hard brush, dipping it slightly in water with a tiny bit of detergent because you can't rinse it either, and I scrub it without mercy. With the brush, it has removed the dirt of the century without damaging the RGB, and the material has only slightly worn down, which is almost not noticeable (and we're talking about good scrubbing).

One and a half years of use with a cat and brushing with a hard brush.

For me, it is perfect and it has fit just as I really want, just the software brings it down a star and a bit the size because I can't judge whether it is suitable or not; everyone has their own tastes and different desks.

A mouse mat that will cover almost the entire desk. Durable, doesn't slip from its position, and the mouse glides smoothly. Classic, very nice RGB lighting, as Razer has accustomed us to, which is also fully adjustable through Razer Synapse (colors, modes, brightness, etc). What worried me was its cable, which fortunately is long and of good quality (I think it's at least 1.5 meters if I'm not mistaken). However, something I overlooked before purchasing it... how to clean it, something I currently do by rubbing it with a damp cloth as much as I can (without soap and without putting it under running water, due to the lighting it has). Is it worth its money (I bought it for about 115 euros)? No, it's clearly for Razer fans and you will definitely find similar mouse mats at half the price (if not lower), hence the given rating.
