Extremely strong and durable cover 100x150cm for covering solar systems (water heater, collector, etc.) with ultrasonic welding. It consists of multi-layer cross lamination. Made of polyethylene, in gray color.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
The laces it has break easily, you need to tie them with stronger material especially if you are in a windy area.
The product is fine, but hasn’t nothing to tie to the panel. Maybe it should go with string or elastics.
It seems quality. I hope it works since it is quite thin and it scares me a little. It didn't have straps inside but I tied it with duct tape at the 4 holes in the corners.
It does its job well, and two straps should be purchased simultaneously for each cover to stabilize it on the mirrors. It noticeably lowered the water temperature in the summer and does not open the safety valve of the water heater.
Very thick plastic. Without fluff inside. With holes on the two large sides (with additional reinforcement) for tying. We passed an elastic strap with a hook (like car luggage/"octopus") through the holes, it held perfectly.
Good for the money, but it doesn't seem like a material that will last many years - I hope I'm wrong... It's a waterproof tarp that has one side silver to reflect the sun and holes - rings around the edges to tie it down. The challenge is to tie it so it stands nicely, which is difficult since no rope or instructions are provided, so you have to improvise. Definitely much better than cardboard or tarp fabric that I used before...
Without straps or ropes for attachment, it is not convenient. As an insulator, it does a decent job even though it looks like a "fake"
How do you tie this? With the bakery ribbon???? Unacceptable, it doesn't have straps to tie it to the solar panel!!!!!
Very good purchase. The only downside is that there is no rope in the package to tie it, you have to use your own. The best solution for the summer period, especially for large solar panels (200 liters, 3 sq.m. of my own surface), in order to avoid the release of the safety valve of the solar panel due to the non-consumption of all the hot water.
While it was initially very good, when it came out of the collector, it had left a black residue on its aluminum surface from its inner coating. The material with which it has been internally coated came off (probably due to temperatures) and went throughout the collector. Essentially, it is now useless.
I give it 4 stars because I have recently started using it and I don't know how it will be in, for example, 2 months. I reserve the right to reevaluate.
The product is okay, it's just missing the ropes needed for installation. It is not stated anywhere.
