Description

Induction Cooktop

The type is induction, meaning only the bottom of the cookware is heated and not the entire burner, resulting in the surrounding area remaining cool to the touch. It uses less energy compared to other types of burners and the cooking time is halved. For example, water boils in less than 90 seconds.

Cleaning it is very easy, since the area around the cookware remains cool, so anything that spills does not heat up and stick to the surface.

A necessary condition for this type of burner is that the cookware must be compatible with induction burners, meaning made of stainless steel or cast iron, as we cannot use all types of cookware. Finally, if you have small children, it is considered the safest option.

Touch Control

The handling for selecting the desired temperatures and settings is done digitally and via touch.

All options are integrated into the surface, so all you need to start cooking is a few gentle touches with your finger.

On its digital display, you can see your current settings at any time.

Cooking Surface

It features a large cooking surface with a diameter from 14 to 22 cm. It can reach temperatures from 80°C to 270°C.

This is a smart burner that alerts you in case of using an inappropriate or very small utensil.

The 5 pre-set functions will help you prepare any dish you desire.

Timer

Electronic timer that automatically shuts off the burner at the end of the desired cooking time.

Ideal for travel and the countryside

The simple design fits any kitchen and the convenient size makes it easy to transport whether for camping, vacations, or moving.

Analyzing the 4 main criteria for purchasing an induction hob: 1) maximum power 2) minimum power 3) power levels 4) timer, we understand why the Esperanza EKH011 is a best seller and the best value for money hob with a price below 20€.

1) The maximum power of the hob is 1470W, like all hobs that state 2000W. More than enough power for cooking anything. In essence, the cookware with the food can heat up quickly, usually within 1 to 5 minutes, and then we can choose to cook slowly for as long as we want.

2) The minimum power is 200W. Not catastrophic if you don't cook very small quantities.

3) The power levels are sufficient for this hob category (up to 50€).

4) The timer helps with easy and perfectly cooked meals.

Pros: The hob is easy to handle even by a child, without needing to refer to the instructions.

Cons: The hob is not good for upgrading to ultra smart, as it would require at least 3 modules, preferably 4, and ideally 5 modules. Apart from the cost, programming is time-consuming and complicated, while the modules with the power supplies barely fit.

Comparison with other hobs:
From 2018 to 2020, Xiaomi had the best smart induction hob as it had 100 cooking levels! However, it fell short as its smart application had only basic functions that did not meet basic needs, and it had a problem with the temperature sensor, which required replacement every 12 months at a cost of 20€ (excluding labor), when the entire device cost around 55€. That is why Xiaomi has disappeared from this sector. Conclusion: this hob costs less than a Xiaomi temperature sensor and has a 2-year warranty. Also, at the moment, to get a better machine with a few more options, you have to spend over 50 euros, while if the available smart devices do not meet your needs, it is better to build one yourself by buying an Electra EH-0520IC and upgrading it to ultra smart.

Purchased for 19€.

--- Update April 2024 ---
The protective casing of the cable has already broken. It is a hard, non-flexible plastic, poorly constructed, without the thick section where it connects to the stove.
The stove itself does not have any issues, it works smoothly, but this is a significant safety concern.
It cannot be fixed with insulation when dealing with electricity. It needs repair or replacement.

-----

First cooking experience, outdoors in the cold. Just a simple frying. If you have experience and can see what's happening in the pot, it's a piece of cake. It's like having gas, fast/intense, quiet, medium, everything can be adjusted. I don't need to write more, it costs 20€ and does exactly what I want. 4 stars because it's the first test.

For the money, it's just fine, but don't expect to see 2000W.
    1500 at best.
Overall, it's good. It's plastic like everything else. How long it will last, I don't know.
It has various programs for Watts, temperature, warming, cooking.
It even shows the voltage of your network.
    And a timer.

The induction cooktops from the German supermarket are far superior in construction and performance. Of the three pieces I bought, one arrived with a burnt fan.

    VFM!
    Induction at enamel price.
You get it with your eyes closed.
The stove has no problems, it neither overheats nor anything.
It goes up to 2000W and boils water from 1300W without a lid.

It's a great solution! Compared to ceramic cooktops, it's much faster. Do the trick with a magnet on the bottom of your cookware to see if it will work with an induction cooktop. The timer is also very good for shutting off by itself. I don't know about durability over time, but so far it has been used exclusively for 6 months and has had water spilled on it, etc.... it hasn't made a sound. Very honest.

Throwing money away.... You realize how fake it is as soon as you hold it in your hands.... I haven't managed to cook anything, not even boil water. I thought maybe it's the pot, it's not heavy enough or it doesn't magnetize properly... I will get back to it.

The website said it accepts pots of 14cm, the box says it also works for 12, unfortunately it does not support the 14 (let alone a 12, also, yes the pots are compatible, since we use this one with the other burner) I got it to replace another one that broke after a fall, for small pots. For 16e it is good, but don't expect anything more. The store is not to blame at all, on the contrary, they were helpful both on the phone and in the store

With stainless steel cookware, it works satisfactorily.
But with cast iron, it tears through.
It heats the pan instantly, and within seconds you see the oil smoking.

Small in size, but works well even with a large pot. Of course, it doesn't work with all metals, only magnetic ones, so be careful. My coffee pots don't work. But that's not the device's fault, as it's induction and you get it precisely for that.

It has many settings and a timer that ...saves.

If you don't need induction, that's fine. Otherwise, get it with your eyes closed

Very good. It doesn't consume much electricity, it's economical. It boils very quickly. It has many program and temperature options. It has a clock that winks as soon as the cooking time you set is over. So even if you forget, there is no risk of burning the food. I've had it for 1.5 years, it's perfect. It cleans easily. I will buy it again.

Somewhat tacky in appearance, but having a space carved out of your kitchen countertop just for the rare task of boiling pasta is elitist tossery. This is the only stove you need. I just wish it didn't have the tactile user interface of a Speak and Spell.

Very good vfm. It did its job. I got it for the holiday home where I don't have a kitchen and it cooked just fine. And the "fire" power is enough for the 22 pot I was using. If you take care of it, due to the plastic construction it generally doesn't suffer any damage. I would buy it again if I needed to.

We really messed up, looking for a "good" and cheap temporary solution!

It does the job, but that's about it!!!
The material it is made of is plastic.
Also, when it works, it has a worrying plastic smell. Is it toxic? I don't know...
It also makes a strange noise.
Don't even pay attention to the "touch control" it claims to have, it's a lie!
Something else I noticed is some small gaps, it seems designed like that, from which you can see all the wires and mechanism. So I ask the following question: If water gets in through the gaps, will it explode?
Overall, it seems to be a poor construction, I don't know if it will last long... Above all, it is NOT like the smart, edited photos that present it, and it definitely is NOT worth the 25€ I bought it for!!!

Very good for cooking, but it does not recognize many types of pots and does not work. Because it requires the use of a pot with a diameter of at least 20 centimeters, it does not accept coffee pots, so it does not brew coffee.

This is the best "value for money" choice. It is high quality and easy to use. The power is more than enough, but unlike many other induction hobs I have dealt with, the power setting is quite sufficient. Even a small pot can boil slightly. I know what I'm talking about, I had problems with this on other hobs, that you can't adjust the heat very low. The only obvious problem, the power cord on induction hobs, in my experience, hardens over time and then breaks. This is a completely weak point here. Especially if you will be moving it often. So, after purchase, without waiting for it to break, I recommend securing the cord to the base with insulating tape or something else to avoid bending. In any case, it is unlikely that you will find a better solution for this money.

I have no opinion because it was simply returned. Just know that the description of the diameter dimension in the eye, which says 14 to 22, is not accurate. The packaging says it goes from 12 to 20 and it is very small.

Flawless purchase. A reliable and powerful stove. And a little trick that will help many.
To determine if a utensil is suitable for an induction stove, we place a magnet at the bottom of it. If the magnet sticks to the utensil, then it is suitable for an induction stove. If it doesn't stick, it simply doesn't work.
