  I have about 15 cases for the 14 pro max, although initially I had bought one from Apple and several from other brands such as Spigen, I ended up using the Apple one for everyday use because they fit well in the hand, have nice colors and texture. The only other brand I still use now is Pitaka, which I have for vacations as it provides more protection.
  The Apple cases, for the use I give them, hold up well and are as good as they were over a year ago.
  Their price is a bit high, as usual, but instead of buying 2-3 Spigen cases, it is definitely better to get one from Apple.

  OK guys.. a case is a case and it does its job in terms of protecting the phone.

  However, for 60€ I find it unacceptable that it started falling apart and pieces started coming off in less than 6 months of use.

  Since it is such a cheap construction, I chose a third-party silicone case as a replacement for less than 1/3 of the price.

  Such a shame. I would have preferred to be satisfied. Why did I not settle for the 60€, but I won't throw them away either.

  Very nice case and it protects the phone, but with the slightest impact it tears and pieces of silicone coating come off. Also, the silicone is incredibly annoying when it comes to taking the phone out of your pocket, the entire pocket lining comes out with it.   The pistachio color, you should know that it is not exactly as it appears in the photos. Depending on the lighting, it changes, sometimes it looks more blue, sometimes more gray, rarely does it appear as green as in the photos. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful color. Classic apple, with its nice silicone cases, they are durable, they have a velvety texture (the first few days until the first cover comes off, it attracts a bit of dust and hair, just so you know).

  What bothered me in both last year's and this year's cases is that they come off very easily, they don't embrace the phone on all sides like before, you can even see the frame of the phone all around. And so, it doesn't give me the security that it won't come off in a possible fall. Of course, this may be in my mind, as they have never come off the phone even though they are so "loose".

  As for its price, it gets more expensive every year. 60 euros for a case just because it has the apple logo on it, seems like a bit of an outrageous amount for a phone case! You might ask why I buy them; because I like them and they suit me. But guys, such prices are not justified in any way. If you have the financial ability and can, and want to get a genuine apple case, go ahead, it will last a long time. However, there are much better cases out there for half the price or even less. I hope I helped..

  Edit: After using 2 apple cases for about 9 months, I have to recall a few things. Firstly, it doesn't come off the phone even in the worst fall, it is very durable and very protective for the phone. Nothing happens to the material it has. It is elegant and slim, and I am no longer bothered that the gold frame is slightly visible, it doesn't lift any glass (which many cases do with full glass) and its buttons are just right. Neither sensitive nor hard. And I mention this because in similar cheap cases (with similar appearance and material), most of them have issues with the buttons. They are either too hard or they get pressed even with a slight touch on the phone, and you take screenshots all the time... in conclusion, Apple's silicone cases, although very expensive, are worth it because they will never disappoint you. You buy one or two and keep them as long as you have the phone..
