It is normal for running but also excellent for walking. It pushes you forward, if you walk fast it makes you walk even faster. Excellent sole!! For their price, they are more than value for money. Very, very soft shoe. It absorbs all the irregularities of the ground extremely effectively. However, it is not a lightweight shoe. I wouldn't say it's heavy, but it has a stability due to its large volume sole. After all, this is what gives it such great absorbency.
As a bulky athlete (1.97cm/125kg), I was looking for a shoe for the gym but mainly for long walks and posture. One that would be comfortable but also provide stability. In this particular one, I found both of these characteristics.
I admit that when I went to the store where I bought them, I intended to get the Hoka Bondi but I changed my mind during the trial. The Hoka is equally soft (maybe even half a click softer than the Saucony) but it doesn't give the feeling of stability to the foot. Especially in shoes with such a soft sole, you need this feeling more because the way you feel and interact with the ground and the road is completely different (much more indirect).
I also read many comments saying to get a larger size, etc. I felt comfortable in the Hoka with my foot size 47 1/3, while in the Saucony, it was size 47. So the best thing you can do is go to a store and try them on to be sure.
Small observations:
Due to the larger sole at the back (towards the heel), after prolonged use, you will feel it in your calves. Like you've trained them very, very lightly.
Tested in walking in the rain. It doesn't slip at all from the arch of the foot and back, but the front part slips. It also didn't let any rain in.
For durability, I don't have an opinion yet, I've only had them for 1 week.

The impressions are after almost 100 kilometers of running on asphalt and open terrain. In my opinion, this particular model is a very good choice for everyday training for anyone looking for maximum protection and stability. The foam adjustment is relatively tight, but the soft feeling from the thick inner TPU sole prevails. This combination promises hundreds of kilometers without changing the shoe's consistency.
As for the negatives, the fit is very narrow. Even with half a size up, I don't feel as comfortable as I would like, especially since I have somewhat wide feet. Also, I don't think it is ideal for very slow paces. It performs better if you land more towards the front to activate the speedroll.
Overall, it is a very reliable everyday training shoe, especially at prices around and below 100€ that can be found nowadays.
Update at 300 kilometers: Absolutely no wear, in fact, it has become slightly more flexible, resulting in more comfort even at slow paces.
