The Xiaomi Redmi Buds 4 Pro are aimed at users seeking true wireless earbuds with notable sound quality and features at an affordable price. The earbuds also come with several features, such as resistance to sweat, moisture, and dust, active noise cancellation, touch control, and easy Bluetooth connection.
They are suitable for daily use, as they can be used for listening to music and calls, and additionally, they have a long-lasting battery and fast charging. Moreover, the Xiaomi Redmi Buds 4 Pro are stylish and lightweight, making them comfortable for long-term use and mobility.
Dual Dynamic Drivers
The Redmi Buds 4 Pro feature a brand-new dual dynamic driver system, consisting of a 10 mm aluminum alloy diaphragm and a 6 mm titanium diaphragm for high frequencies. Together, the two drivers combine to deliver crystal-clear treble and rich bass across a wide range of genres.
Cinematic listening experience
They feature a brand-new immersive sound system, which uses an exclusive Xiaomi HRTF sound algorithm to simulate real sound and provide a truly immersive experience when watching videos, compatible with various sound sources and playback devices.
Active noise cancellation up to 43dB
The headphones can reduce noise by up to 43dB, blocking up to 99.3% of external noise, allowing you to enjoy your music in peace and tranquility.
Listen to your surroundings and conversations
In normal transparency mode, you can hear your surroundings without needing to remove the headphones. You can also switch to voice enhancement mode when you want to speak to someone face-to-face.
System with 3 microphones
Crystal clear call quality, wherever you are
Each of the three microphones has its own function and accurately captures voice sounds to effectively filter out external noise. Call quality is further enhanced through a neural network noise reduction algorithm.
Touch control playback
Each earphone is equipped with a sensor that allows you to pause music playback and switch functions with a short or long press.
Bluetooth 5.3
The headphones can be connected to two Android, iOS, or Windows devices simultaneously, allowing you to use the same headphones when you are at the office. On compatible MIUI devices, the MIUI pop-up window for quick pairing requests appears automatically when you open the charging case (with the headphones) near your phone.

I bought the headphones last week for about €50. I have been pleasantly surprised by their performance for the use I make of them (mainly music, videos, and movies). I own several Xiaomi headphones, such as the Xiaomi Mi Buds 2 and the Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 Lite. The sound system they have competes with the Razer Kraken X and the Edifier W820NB, which are pairs I own. The ANC system they have is perhaps the best for their price, and the noise cancellation definitely covers all sounds in noisy environments. I was particularly impressed that the noise cancellation does not produce interference when you are in front of a fan or have the car window open. The transparency mode works well, but I believe it transforms the sound into mainly very high and sometimes annoying frequencies. Personally, the battery never runs out for me. I usually use them for 6+ hours in a day and I haven't had to charge them for almost 4 days, and their case still has 45% battery. They have a very easy connection with the phone and have a page in Bluetooth where you can customize them and check their battery. They are very durable and have a good fit, but if you wear them for a long period of time, your ears will start to hurt as they are in-ear headphones and not over-ear. In my opinion, I highly recommend them, just be mindful of the price history because their price is not stable and constantly fluctuates (I bought them for €50 and now they are €64).
After 1 month of use, I have started to understand exactly what problems they have. The one main negative for me is that sometimes the sound gets confused in Noise Cancellation mode and you end up not hearing anything even though the device you have them connected to is playing sound. This can be fixed by taking out and putting back the earphone from your ear. From what I understand, it is a software issue because it started happening after an update, but I'm not sure. Their positives are abundant and don't need to be reiterated. However, I was particularly impressed that you can customize the buttons (the touch screen) to perform any command. Finally, I would like to add that their durability is amazing and they are very resistant because they have fallen on the ground once and haven't suffered any damage.
Owner of the Redmi Buds 3, I was quite satisfied but because of the intense use I had made (work, gym, walking), they had started to malfunction and had a sound issue in the left earbud, so I decided to buy the Buds 4.
Unfortunately, disappointment with the 4...
- It doesn't fit well in the ear, many times it falls out (during workouts) and you have to put it back in with your hand, resulting in it thinking it has been removed and pausing the music or whatever you're watching... terrible!
- For some unknown reason, sometimes you can hear the sound of disconnection and reconnection, causing the music to stop! Maybe because of the previous issue.
- The sound quality and battery life are satisfactory, as well as during calls, but what's the use if it doesn't function properly and frequently loses connection.
Personally, I would prefer the size and dimensions of the Buds Pro3, I don't know why they changed them.
I think my next purchase will be Pixel Buds or something else because... you get what you pay for
very satisfied. without having dealt much with the settings. they have good sound and connect to 2 devices which is very convenient for me to have them on mobile and pc
The shape of the case constantly leads me to drop it right and left! I've dropped it more times than I've dropped anything ever in my life... however, they work perfectly. I have no complaints regarding sound and connectivity.
Although they are not very loud, they are quite nice. Their sound is good and the microphone is clear. The package includes their case, the earbuds, 3 pairs of ear pads (S, M, L), the instructions, and a charging cable, which is not very long, about 30 centimeters I believe.
From the first month, they started losing connection with the microphone. (Suddenly the interlocutor cannot hear me while I can hear them normally). First and last time I buy something from Xiaomi. Anyone who wants to throw away their money can buy them.
Terrible headphones. The cheap Xiaomi ones for at least 18€ at least connect to the device and play until you stop them.
These ones, however, disconnect permanently because they supposedly "detect" that you have taken them out of your ears. This constant stopping and starting in a song in your ears can drive you crazy.
Also, for absolutely no reason, it switches from "inactive" mode or "noise cancellation" mode, to the cursed "transparency" mode that increases external noise, making you even more crazy.
All technologies are welcome WHEN and IF they work properly, NOT when they are broken and make your experience terrible.
As I said, Xiaomi's headphones under 20€ at least do the basics, their basic functions, correctly.
These headphones, on the other hand, are USELESS.
P.S: From the Xiaomi app, you cannot permanently disable the "transparency" mode. It also does not allow you to disable the "detection" if they are in your ears. There is an option, but it does not work. Broken headphones, broken app.
Review: I tried them today and they are flawless, very powerful in sound, decent quality.
Battery: perfect battery, lasts many hours of use and charges very quickly as mentioned in the product description.
Comfort: as you can see in the pictures, there is a downward line on the headphones that bothers me a little on the lower part of the ear, but it doesn't hurt my ear after hours of use and it's comfortable.
Other: it comes with a set of ear cushions in different sizes and a short charger. Don't forget to remove the safety stickers on the case and on the headphones
Compared to Huawei freebuds 4i, these headphones are terrible.
I read very good reviews for both before buying them.
Active Noise cancellation: It is useless compared to Huawei. When I activate the noise cancellation, there is minimal difference compared to when it is deactivated. I can still hear my surroundings clearly. Huawei is far superior in this aspect.
Connectivity:
Easy to connect. But they frequently disconnect for no reason.
At least 3 times a week, they will disconnect on their own or have difficulty connecting. (Daily use)
Both models also have a sensor that "detects" when the earphone is in your ear and when you take it out to pause the music. I wish it actually worked... When I go for a run and sweat, the earphones stop playing due to the sensor. This happens quite often. Something that doesn't happen with Huawei.
Sound quality:
The sound quality is decent for the price of Xiaomi. However, it would need a bit more volume when set to maximum, something that I have noticed has been improved in the Redmi buds 5 pro.
They definitely do not have a battery life of 9 hours. No matter what setting I have tried, they have lasted me about half of that.
First experience for me with Bluetooth headphones, was with these specific ones. I have been very disappointed! At first, for about 5-6 months, they work normally without impressive performance and then there is no volume at all, even distortion. I should mention here that the first device was replaced with a new one under warranty, but still the same issues... just this time they occurred within 2 months... I can't deal with the warranty anymore, I will simply go for JBL because I have read the best reviews and friends have also told me the best! I do not recommend them, you will simply waste your money!
The headphones were great the first six months, excellent sound and very good noise cancellation. After six months, the sound deteriorated significantly and their volume dropped, even if you disable all functions as previous comments suggest. Therefore, they are not worth buying.
I believe the previous model (redmi buds pro 3) was better in terms of application, fit in the ear, and design. I struggle to take them out of their case. Overall, I do not recommend them.
The headphones have a problem when you enable LDAC settings and you cannot use them unless you enable and disable (or vice versa) the noise cancellation function (or the LDAC function, of course).
The problem is purely a software issue that makes me feel disappointed for a device that never caused me any other problems.
It also had a problem with video playback when I had LDAC enabled.
However, my concern is that the music and videos sound much better with LDAC enabled.
They constantly disconnect. They do not fit well at all, and every time I take off my shirt, at least one falls out. Poor quality and low volume unless I activate the noise cancellation. Then you can see the only good thing they have compared to the Redmi Buds 3 Pro is the sound quality. Used with Xiaomi 11T Pro. Without a Xiaomi phone, you have to download an app from the Play Store, otherwise you lose many of their functions.
The first week everything is perfect and then they start to break. I have bought them twice and both have broken within almost a month. Do not buy them. The only positive thing is the battery.
I would recommend to those who mention that the volume is low to disable the "Absolute sound volume" and LDAC (high-quality audio experience) settings from Bluetooth settings. With these enabled, indeed the listening volume is low. When disabled, the volume is adjusted to the desired level.
The product is excellent, with long battery life, good headphone volume, and the speakers hear you very well, as long as the headphones fit well in your ears. I would like a bit more noise cancellation, but this is sufficient. It is durable against drops and sweat. Recommended.
For their price, they are excellent in terms of conversation, music, connection speed, and ANC. The sound quality and noise cancellation they achieve are on par with much more expensive headphones
Overall, they are good headphones. HOWEVER, after a month they simply stopped working suddenly. I don't know if this particular one is faulty but yes. Overall, if it was only this specific issue, they are worth it
Good construction and very good sound but there is a high sensitivity to touch on the headphones and I have not been able to answer calls from them, resulting in me answering calls from my mobile
Very good and durable headphones for their price, (I have dropped them several times with the case, before and after the protective cover I wear, due to rough use). Clearly, the sound quality is better when you wear both of them together. 1 out of 5 times, they may not hear me with crystal clear sound, but it is negligible!
The connectivity with the phone and laptop is excellent even when I have both devices nearby (it doesn't get confused, for example, staying connected to one device and taking longer to connect to the other)!
I don't know what else someone could be looking for in this price range.
I have bought them as a gift for the second time as well.
Also, the white case you see (extra, found here on the page), is suitable because I can see them better inside a bag and also because of the clip it has, I can hang it on my pants where it is easily accessible.
If you don't pay attention, you may put your interlocutor on hold. They do not have good external noise reduction, resulting in the person you are calling not hearing you well.
The sound is very satisfying, I wear them for music and videos. I even talk on the phone while on the bus. The application is very good and the noise cancellation is very good even with noise like the transparency. They connect very easily. I have been using them for about 2 months
