Also, the protective screen membrane should have been of different quality because it attracts dust to a great extent.

Very good mobile phone, very good camera, fast and nice image. However, it has a problem as it appears from several reviews which is a bit crucial. The screen breaks. And since so many people have experienced it, Samsung should take responsibility to fix it for free. It should be covered by the warranty as it should. There is no reason to offer a warranty if you don't cover your own mistakes. I got it as a gift for my wife after trying to convince her for 10 days to switch from iPhone and finally, after 8 months, the screen broke. And Samsung asks for 370 euros. An 800 euro mobile phone is going to waste. Unfortunately, the latest reviews were not available when I bought it and I made a mistake.

I got this specific phone exactly 2 years ago. After a year, it started to show lines on the internal fold, but I didn't pay much attention because it wasn't anything serious, and suddenly, before even completing the second year of use, as soon as you try to fold it (without needing to close it completely), it shuts down and only turns back on if it is connected to a charger. I had this particular product for about 2 years until yesterday morning when I woke up and tried to open it. It made a cracking sound and then another one, and the hinge in the middle got bent and it wouldn't fully open, it stayed folded at 90 degrees.
Within the warranty period, I went to the authorized Samsung service and they told me that it has some marks around the edges, but nothing that indicates it can't be repaired under warranty. I left it there and on the same day they called me and said that Samsung refused to repair it due to impact damage!!! What impact damage!!! I didn't hit it! I spoke with Samsung and got the same response... The repair cost? 360 euros... STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG. Such scammers who have designed the warranty in a way that only covers damage that magically happens without you being at fault, but the phone itself. Oh, and heaven forbid if the phone has scratches or wear around the screen from normal daily use. To get it fixed, you apparently shouldn't use it at all, but rather have it displayed in a stand in your living room. WASTED MONEY.

I just got my hands on this particular mobile phone as a gift, used. I can say that it is quite good in everything, except for its battery. The mobile phone I had before was the RealMe 7pro, which at the price of 250€ I bought it was worth it and did exactly the same as the flip 4. The big difference is in the battery, the RealMe held up heavy data usage and GPS simultaneously, while the flip 4 dies on its own. Charging is also frustratingly slow even with a 65w charger.
Overall, I would not recommend Samsung. Especially with the prices they have. Good mobile phone but considering the negatives, this particular phone charges the design more than the actual phone. I just hope it doesn't experience what I read from other reviews.

The most useless phone I bought. A gift for my wife, after a successful journey with Galaxy S8, S9+, S20+. From the first day in Samsung cases worth 40 euros. In the first 3 months, the screen broke without any drop, so suddenly one day it had a line in the middle and that was the end. I took it to Smartec, it was changed under warranty and everything was fine. I considered it a problematic product and didn't pay much attention. After 3 months, the same thing happened again. This time, however, Samsung did not accept the warranty request "due to damage". The damage is a scratch on the upper left part of the hinge. So the manufacturer asks me to pay 510 euros for a defective product, pretending that it's my fault that the screen broke due to damage, which of course it doesn't know how it happened and can't support. It's a shame that I paid 1300 euros for a phone and a shame that I showed trust in a manufacturing company that tested its product before offering it to the end consumer. I will simply say: STAY AWAY FROM FLIP/FOLD PHONES IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO USE IT AND NOT JUST HAVE IT WITH CRYSTAL GLASSES.

Very good phone. I switched from iPhone and it's definitely worth it. It takes a little while to get used to it, but it's great. The camera quality is not at all like the iPhone's, but it's good. I dropped it in the pool with the phone in my pocket and nothing happened, I wouldn't recommend it but accidents happen (just don't take it underwater and everything will be fine). You can see the curve in the middle of the screen (if the sun is directly above it, if you have it folded and you see ticks, if you place it horizontally at eye level), I won't lie, but you don't really care if you have a foldable phone. The face recognition doesn't work perfectly, but it also has fingerprint recognition so you don't really mind. The battery is excellent. The small screen next to the cameras is very convenient. The only complaint is that when you dismiss a notification, the red badge with the number above the app icon also disappears, but I think that's generally a Samsung thing and not specific to this one. I remain a loyal iPhone user but such a change is worth it.

Owner of this particular mobile for 3 months now. I didn't want to rush and give a review on the hype. It was a forced purchase as the s7 edge gave up after 5 years. I wanted something different from the usual. And indeed, what they say is true. Its look attracts attention. You leave it at the cafe and they ask you what it is, etc. It has happened to me 3 times. I don't use the camera heavily, but the photos I take have great quality. Definitely not professional. The mobile is sleek, I don't play games so I can't comment on temperatures. If I could, I would wait for the 5 in the summer. But still, I would go for a flip or fold with my eyes closed. The battery is a negative, but the charging is extremely fast and now with power banks, the issue is not a big concern. Also, if you wanted perfection, you would have to spend 2 thousand with today's standards. You will have to sacrifice something. Anyway, it is a very unique mobile and easily loved. Finally, the folding line, you won't even remember it after the first 10 minutes of using the mobile for the first time. I would easily buy it again! Tip, add Dolby sound. This is significant and you can learn how delicate it is the hard way because to repair it, it costs 400 euros like I experienced. Other than that, the phone has served me well. If it is not repaired, then the screen will darken in the middle, and it will not open completely. The more you try to open it, the more the screen will darken. That is why I have chosen to donate it and purchase the excellent Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Suddenly, the screen stopped working properly, not responding to touch and displaying a black screen.
Even though I am within the warranty period, Samsung politely informed me that the damage was likely due to misuse of the device and is not covered, but will be charged for, as others have mentioned.
I have taken extra care of the phone (no drops, gently opening and closing, no pressure, never thrown in a bag, basically not letting anyone else touch it), and I don't understand why it is not covered by the warranty. Obviously, I cannot afford to pay for the repair as it would cost as much as buying a new phone.
I deduct one star from the review for Samsung's technical support.
I will continue using it until it completely stops working, for as long as it lasts.
It's really a shame because besides the fact that it was quite expensive, I really liked it.
I might stick with Samsung, but not the Flip model again.

Coming from the S20 FE, I switched to the Z Flip 4 (after researching and comparing their features) primarily because of its appearance, as it is a gem of a device. Additionally, as a child of the 90s, I have always been fascinated by flip phones. I also found it on sale for a hundred euros less.
Its camera pleasantly surprised me (compared to the FE, obviously it doesn't have the same resolution as the S series phones), producing clear and beautiful photos.
The selfie camera is inferior to the FE, but that's a minor detail.

I won't lie, my soul trembles when I fold it, not because it has any issues, quite the opposite. But many people say that some units were defective. I got it in gold. Let me tell you... a jewel... simply a jewel. In terms of speed, it goes without saying that it doesn't lag, of course. I even lost faith in it during the first set up when it came out of the box. It has both 5G and NFC, fast charging, a truly beautiful AMOLED screen. However, its speaker is good but it doesn't have as much volume as the Galaxy A32 that I had bought 2 years ago. I would like a bit more volume. I wouldn't recommend a case. The phone heats up easily. If you put a silicone case, I'm afraid the screen will suffer from the high temperature. Personally, I prefer it to fall and go for repair on the back glass rather than the screen getting damaged. I always fold it in half when I'm not using it, except for when it's charging, then I keep it open. It also has an equalizer for sound, Dolby Atmos sound, and overall good sound quality with headphones. Overall, it requires attention. Also, be careful in the summer with sand on the beach. If sand gets in, it's a big problem. It will need service. It is waterproof (in tap water). Its battery should have a longer life, it needs to be charged during the day. The phone continues to work normally, I haven't encountered any issues. Because there seems to be a problem with the "curve" area, that it loosens over time and breaks for some people, I'll tell you the following: The phone is not a Motorola from 2005 that we need to fold forcefully as if nothing will happen. Guys, you don't need to hit both sides of the screen with force to hear the aluminum. So, close it gently. Not forcefully. Two acquaintances of mine who have it did that and took it to the service. Also, cases create a little issue in that specific area, I repeat, don't use cases, prefer it to fall without a case.
