It is indeed top quality both in camera and screen, but it has the usual hassle of transferring videos to PC and its price is excessive.
POSITIVES: IT HAS AMAZINGLY FAST FACE RECOGNITION. IT IS VERY QUICK IN EVERYTHING THE PHONE CAN DO. FROM THERE ON, IT IS MY WORST PURCHASE. I HAVE BEEN A SAMSUNG USER FOR YEARS (TOP CLASS), I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE GO AND BUY IOS PHONES. iMessage? It exists on Android too. No customization on the phone, even to turn off the Wi-Fi so it doesn't turn on by itself when it hears you, requires 5 taps; overall, the software is a mess. Also, after 7 months, one pixel on the screen has burned out. Overall camera experience, not as good as it is advertised to be.

Very good phone, with a huge screen and battery. You buy it and it has top features for the next 7 years with frequent updates... or maybe not????? You buy it for 1,500 euros at a good time and after 1 year Apple announces that your top phone will not get the AI (Apple Intelligence) features that even the 300 euro Android phones have because it has 6GB of memory and that's it... Come on, release a version for the 6GB phones with limited AI because it's a software issue or allocate 2GB from the storage space. The other "fair" solution is to force your customer to upgrade their device after 1.5 years by buying the 16 Pro Max for example, asking them to give you their old one with 100% battery health (380 euros, checked at an official representative, while they say 600 max euros) that you have been using a lot. The trade-in in Greece is at least ridiculous (this applies to other companies as well) when in other countries, when a new model comes out, you add maybe 20% to the price of your phone and get the new one. Not even that happens in the Greece of pandas that suggest "recycling" with dirt prices... Conclusion: What a shame.. The future is foldable and AI. One is not even considered and the other is given "sneakily" to newer selective devices (to go from iPhone 14 to 15 or 16 for software and the updates that come out are huge without you seeing anything essentially new in your device if you have an iPhone 14 or lower).... Purchased in February 2023, I was waiting to buy an iPhone since 2012 when I had the iPhone 4s! I sold it to get my driver's license!! After 1.5 years, the phone works perfectly, it has fallen twice but with a Spigen case and a screen protector, no scratches! The battery health is at 87% after a whole year of using it as a hotspot to have internet at home due to poor provider coverage in my area, but it was fixed with Starlink network! Thank you, Elon!!! With iPhone here I get 17mbps, with Android 11Mbps, with Starlink 300mbps unlimited! The iPhone was charging wirelessly, not with an Apple charger though. Now I charge it with a cable to preserve the battery health. Otherwise, I am very satisfied, but I'm not willing to give two basic salaries of Greece for a phone. Now you might say that you get what you pay for, and I will tell you that the prices for phones are unacceptable, don't look at the tricks they use to justify it, they make jokes and it's their job to convince you to buy them. A phone for 1500 euros compared to an Android for 200 euros that you change every 2 years, so the iPhone should last for 14-15 years. Will it last that long? We will see.

Transition from Android specifically from s22 ultra snapdragon, and owner here for 4 months. With an additional +200€, I bought a very decent device (used) for 9 months, which does everything as it should.
I had previously transitioned to the 11 Pro max, but the 60 Hz on the screen bothered me a lot.
Battery easily lasts a day with usage, the downside being the consumption with 5G and navigation, where it shows.
Cameras are very good, high-level and without noise even at night, with a simple tap it will give you results in all scenes.
Video is one of the best overall, right after the 15, with cinematic shooting, HDR video, incredibly smooth, and proper stabilization, with the added bonus of night video where it comes out impeccable and perfectly clear.
In terms of performance, it has never lagged, however, Android on navigation and scrolling in menus and social has become lightning fast, so Apple has its own way, whatever you prefer.
In conclusion, the phone is worth it, it is future proof, you get it and you don't worry, and this is coming from someone who changes their phone every 6 months, and now I don't even think about it.
Owner of the iPhone 13 Pro Max, I made the switch in the summer of 2023 to the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Apart from the dynamic island, the stolen feature from Samsung, I'm talking about the always on display (AOD) and some minor differences in the phone's performance, not much has changed...
Nevertheless, let's also mention the positives about this particular smartphone. The battery is very good, easily lasting 1 and a half to 2 days depending on each person's usage. For example, if you play heavy games, obviously the battery performance won't be the same... The camera is equally very good, both in photos and videos!!! (4K at 60 fps with cinematic and action mode)... Now, if someone has the 13 or even the 12, I don't recommend getting the 14. However, if they have an Android and want to make a change, I highly recommend it without hesitation!!!

Quite a good phone, worth its money, although in terms of features, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has much better features than the iPhone, nevertheless I chose it because it has better integration with Social Media, for example, if you open the camera on Instagram or Tik Tok or any other application where you want to take a photo, it has better integration, meaning the camera takes much better pictures compared to another phone. Generally, I am an Android user, but I decided to switch to iOS because it is smoother and generally more refined and well-made operating system.
Well, guys, at first I was afraid to switch to Apple and iOS as I had been a Huawei P20 Pro owner for 5 years and couldn't find any other phone worthy of its features. But I did my research and decided to get the iPhone. I have one thing to say, why didn't I get it earlier? Don't even think about it, this phone is amazing. First of all, the device is sturdy. I won't even discuss its speed in various tasks, it opens them before you even think about it! And as for the battery that some say doesn't last, it's understandable if you spend 10 hours a day on your phone. For me, with 4-5 hours daily, it lasts 2 days! The camera, what can I say, it's mind-blowing. We're talking about professional-level resolution, especially the night mode, it's simply incredible! I've had it for 4 months and I'm blown away. If you're thinking of getting it, buy it. It's an unbelievable device in every aspect.
The mobile phone is really good for everyday use, but as a Power User with excessive usage, I can't find its essence, coming from the iPhone 13 there are minimal differences, it has partial difference in speed, multitasking, battery, and minimal difference in the camera but for the price it costs I don't see anything "Pro Max", personally I would go for the Plus if I could turn back time, for its price the battery is not something extra and the mobile phone is very heavy, with a Spigen case it reaches close to 300gr. From the difference between the 13, the only thing I have to say is that I stopped complaining that the mobile phone doesn't last a day, nothing more.
First time iPhone. Undoubtedly a wonderful mobile phone, it has amazing photography both during the day and especially at night. Its speed approaches the performance of a computer. First time iPhone user. I come from Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and I can say that the change was worth it.
The only things that bother me a bit are its weight, which you get used to after a while, the keyboard that doesn't allow you to customize it yourself and limits you, and the battery compared to what I was used to, but for the usage I do, it easily lasts a day.
However, the price could have been lower.
After almost a year of owning the iPhone 14 pro max, it's time for me to give my evaluation. I have never owned previous iPhones before, so my opinion is new.
Positives: Camera: Regarding the camera's performance, I have to say the following: in good lighting conditions, it is incredible, as the shots it takes allow you to have raw images and then completely change the photo with some editing. All the photos come out in a way that gives you a more natural and slightly muted result, making it easier to adjust the colors without being too excessive.
Video + cinematography: The video shots are truly amazing with the three sensors it has. The bokeh in cinematography is very good, and it doesn't have anything to fear even in low light conditions.
Display + battery performance: With the Super Retina display, I have the best experience. The color palettes are exceptional and provide a unique experience. As for the battery, personally, it covers me very well considering how powerful the processor is, how good the display is, with a brightness of 2000, and the RAM. We understand that it's logical for the battery to last a day.
Negatives: Price: Surely, someone who will buy this phone, like all flagship phones, will know its price and that everything will be expensive, whether it's the genuine case, headphones, or watch.
Speaker: It generally has good bass, but I don't think it did a significant job for the money.
Design: For the past 3 years, the design has been the same as other phones of the same price range. Also, I am bothered by the curves, which are annoying for me when I hold it.
Charging: I consider the charging to be very slow for the price of the phone.
Keyboard and correction: As insignificant as it may be, it bothers me quite a bit, and I can't get used to it. The correction is disappointing. Fortunately, with the new update, it has improved slightly.
I will not get into the debate of ANDROID or IOS, there are fantastic mobiles that work well on both operating systems. As for the 14 pro max, it has good build quality, a fast processor, impressive photo and video capabilities. However, in my opinion, it is not value for money and the higher price compared to the competition is not justified.

I have read and heard a lot about its battery, but for now, after more than a month of use, I really end the day with 30-35% and I have it as a tool in my daily life, as I mentioned before. I come from the 13 Pro, so in terms of speed, I didn't see any major differences, as the 13 Pro was a very fast and reliable phone. The photos, especially the video, are excellent, and the size of the Pro Max doesn't have any significant difference for me, at least.
Is it worth transitioning from the 13 pro max to the 14 pro max?
I find it unnecessary to list the advantages and disadvantages of an iPhone, as millions of electronic ink have been spilled on this topic, so it is now well-known to everyone. I have been an iPhone user since 2009 until today. So, below I present my initial impressions - after 24 hours! - of the iPhone 14 pro max, coming from the corresponding 13 pro max, which I had for about 15 months. The positives and negatives of the 14 pro max compared to the 13 pro max.
Positives:
- Brighter display and even brighter in sunlight
- Faster in usage and smoother scrolling while browsing websites
- The camera is improved in regular focal distances, I haven't tested it enough in low light, so I can't give an opinion.
- A significant - for me - improvement is that even though both the 13 and 14 have the same weight (240g), the 14 has better and more balanced weight distribution, which doesn't strain my wrist like the 13 does.
- Better angles and "cuts" as a sensation despite almost the same dimensions.
- A relative improvement in battery life.
- The dynamic island, a smart and nice "trick" to hide the front camera. Useful in notifications while listening to music, etc. I hope it doesn't become an "empty letter" in terms of developers exploiting it, like Apple did with the MacBook touch Bar, even though they announced it amidst great fanfare as something innovative, then abandoned it in the next generation MacBook.
- I like the on-display feature, although it confuses the novice user at first.
Negatives:
- I would say the only substantial negative is that the 14 heats up both during usage and while charging compared to the 13, which rarely overheated. I don't know if this is also due to high summer temperatures. I think this is a tremendous failure on Apple's part. I hope it doesn't explode at the beach -)
Conclusion:
It is worth transitioning from the 13 to the 14 only when the price of the latter drops significantly - like now, in anticipation of the 15. The differences with the 13 in no way justify the acquisition of the 14 by spending so much money, when the device was announced in September 2022. However, as a smartphone, the iPhone remains one of the most premium phones on the market.
Obviously a very good mobile phone. It takes excellent photos and equally good videos, but it lacks in zoom compared to other flagship phones from Samsung or Xiaomi. However, the iOS environment, despite coming from many years of using Android devices, seems more creative for the average user and has many more customization options at basic levels.

Purchase 20 days ago for €1198. 128gb with a 20% discount for a few days in gold, as all the others were sold out. I didn't expect it to be so nice, it gives a sense of luxury now. As for the device, I believe the screen is one of the best out there, even though it has FHD+ resolution and not WQHD+ like the competition. Incredible technology, the best processor so far. The camera takes top-notch photos during the day, and there are some slightly better ones from certain flagship devices at night, but there is no competition day and night. The price as a company reaches the absurd of the era. I bought it for my daughter who needed it for her studies. It could have done its job with a more economical one.
Coming from years of using Android, I had high expectations and I was disappointed. The battery is unacceptable, personally it couldn't last me a day. Is it possible for a phone that costs 1600€ to have only 4300 mA? Fast charging with an original Apple charger only brought it up to 40% in half an hour, and it would easily drain without heavy usage. There are phones on the market that charge the phone fully and have one-third of the price of iPhones. It is also incredibly restrictive when it comes to transferring files to the iPhone and from iPhone to Windows.
The photos often came out blurry (I don't know if it's a software issue with the camera), but I was disappointed there as well. I kept it for 4 months and luckily sold it for cash, and my soul was relieved. 1600€... and it doesn't even do the basics that 400€ phones do? The only reason to get it is if you are already involved in the Apple ecosystem and have no other choice. Everything is unbelievably overpriced, and don't tell me that their system is inaccessible because I can assure you (as a computer programmer) that those who steal them know how to break into them. For me, it has no value for money. It lags behind in software compared to Android. Yes, indeed, because its software is based on BSD UNIX, it is quite light, which is why it runs smoothly, but it usually stays at 60 Hz and doesn't reach 120 Hz. Also, gestures (despite the update to iOS 17) are not supported by all applications, which is unacceptable in 2023. Since they are not supported by all applications, the back button should be at the bottom of the screen and not in the upper left corner. But of course, Apple wanted to stand out in that as well.
The Greek keyboard has a completely different letter layout from what is usual, and unfortunately, it doesn't allow you to "customize" it and arrange it as you want (for example, you can't even put numbers above the letters on the keyboard).
And let me tell you about the fact that apps that are free on Android can cost up to 14€ per week on iOS. Finally, you can't change anything... not even the ringtone (let's say you want to use a song... you have to go through the whole ceremony using GarageBand to do that).
In the end, when I invest in a 1600€ device... I want that device to be mine and do whatever I want with it... not to have to compromise with Apple's desires. All of the above, combined with slow charging and battery life, make it an incredibly overpriced phone that unfortunately, as soon as you want to do something outside the limits set by Apple, will make it difficult (if not tormenting) for you.
P.S.: Think very carefully if 1600€ is really an investment for a mobile phone... because at the end of the day, it's just a phone. It can fall, break... you can lose it... and it is restrictive in terms of what it can do compared to a 1600€ computer.
The 4 are only worth the money a mobile phone can have!

First-time iPhone user. Before, I had never even touched one just to see what it's like.
+ In terms of build quality, I feel like I'm holding a jewel and not just a regular phone. I have used other flagship phones from big companies, but none of them have this quality.
+ The camera is fantastic. I'm not knowledgeable about photography, but the default settings it has work wonders. The video stabilization is impeccable. Even if you're running while recording, the video remains stable.
+ Surprisingly, the battery impressed me. With my own usage, I have managed to last up to 2 days on a single charge. I haven't been able to do this with any other phone.
+ The sound is, of course, very good. Loud and clear speakers that don't distort even at 100% volume.
+ I have nothing to say about the screen. It is very good in terms of resolution/color quality (OLED). The brightness is very good. Even under the sun at noon, you can see everything on the screen clearly.
- The only negative thing I could find is its weight. It's like a brick, but you get used to it over time.
Oh, and the price, of course. At €1400, it is "worth it" now. Still, it is a lot. But you get what you pay for. It will easily last for five years with great comfort.
Very satisfied, and I believe it will be very difficult for me to go back to Android.
It could be even better for its price if the battery had a larger capacity. I switched from iPhone XR to this and the change was worth it after so many years.
Review for the 14 pro max 256 for the month that I had it until it was stolen the day before yesterday. Coming from XS max, I transferred my data wirelessly and unfortunately, even though it says it is active and the phone is locked, the find my iPhone was inactive where I could have found it when it was taken from me. Attention, guys, be careful with this setting.
Visually, the purple color with the spiggen pink crystal case made the phone stand out. It's really beautiful.
On the screen, I didn't see a big difference compared to the XS max, and what is missing and really annoyed me was that on the XS max, I could scroll the cursor from the swiftkey keyboard to select text. I think it's called 3D touch, which is impossible with the 14 pro max. For example, in Safari, you have to go to the address bar to select text.
The photos are obviously day and night compared, but I still wasn't super satisfied with the low-light photos from the front camera. The night video was very good. Maybe I didn't have enough time to learn it in the month that I had it.
Battery: The XS max, at 83% battery, couldn't last a day, but the 14 pro max also couldn't last a day with the screen constantly on. With the screen off, yes, it lasts a day and more. It's annoying that it shows a message that it needs to cool down to continue charging above 80%. I was using an Apple charger, the square one that came with the iPad, I think it's 24W, and an old lightning cable. I never took out the one that came in the package from the box.
Overall, it had some freezes mainly when opening or activating the screen, which is unacceptable for Apple's flagship. I don't think I will buy the same one again due to theft. I will repair the XS max and wait for the 15. Mainly because I frequently back up to iTunes, and the speed of USB 2 is unacceptable when backing up 150GB. This will probably be fixed finally in the 15.
