The HYPERDESMO AQUA is based on the innovative water-based polyurethane technology of ALCHIMICA, offering waterproofing for horizontal and vertical surfaces in the most challenging conditions.
It provides excellent resistance to ponding water with high durability in harsh weather conditions and, being aliphatic, offers exceptional resistance to ultraviolet radiation and improves the energy efficiency of a building by reducing the surface temperature.
It is thixotropic, with excellent workability and quick drying, making it easy to apply on a variety of substrates such as concrete or metal roofs, polyurethane foam, etc. It can be applied with a brush, roller, or spray in two or more layers on both vertical and horizontal substrates, forming an elastic and hydrophobic membrane.
Applications
Waterproofing, painting, and protection: Polyurethane foam, roofs & terraces, corrugated iron and sheet metal, drywall and cement board, bituminous membrane.
Suitable substrates: Concrete (including fiber-reinforced), cement slabs and tiles, wooden surfaces, galvanized, polyurethane foam.
Advantages
Application Method
Clean the surface, ideally with a water pressure washer. Remove loose materials, dust, vegetation, salts, oils, etc. Surface irregularities may require smoothing.
Priming: For primer application, consult the product's Technical Data Sheet. For non-demanding applications (where there is no ponding water or negative pressure), prime with the same product diluted with 15% water. For more professional applications, apply the above-recommended primers or consult the company's Technical Department.
