It doesn't have an internal removable bin like most bins. So there isn't a bin that can be easily removed to throw away trash or to wash it. Also, the large bags don't stand up because of this; you have nowhere to put them. And when you step on the foot lever, it just opens the lid a little and not completely. I don't know how they thought of this since when you buy a bin with a foot pedal, you want to open the bin with your foot, not use your hands as well.
