The Vitaquick is the basic model of Fissler from the series of pressure cookers.
In addition to the convenient Vitaquick positioning aid, it also features a function that informs you of the locking status, so you know when the lid is properly placed.
The high-quality Super Thermic thermal base guarantees uniform absorption, distribution, and retention of heat. Suitable for all types of stoves.
Thanks to the metal tab on the lid, it is extremely easy to place it in the correct position.
Locking indicator for visual and audible lock verification for increased safety. When the pressure cooker is properly closed, a characteristic "click" sound is heard and a color indicator on the handle changes from red to green. Then pressure begins to build.
The pressure inside the pressure cooker can be easily adjusted thanks to the 2 cooking settings for extremely light or very fast cooking.
Min and max indicators to accurately calculate the necessary amount of liquids during cooking.
The handle on the lid is detachable to facilitate cleaning. All you need to do is unscrew it by hand.
The Superthermic base is suitable for all stovetops, including induction. It ensures optimal heat absorption and retention.
Pressure cookers significantly reduce cooking time compared to conventional methods. This is because the high pressure that builds up in the hermetically sealed pressure cooker increases the boiling point of water. Thus, you can cook at high temperatures ranging from 110 to 116°C and save up to 70% of your time.
The result of cooking food in a pressure cooker from which oxygen has been removed offers more vitamins and minerals in less time.
The oxygen that is expelled from the pressure cooker and the short cooking times help to preserve the vitamins, minerals, nutrients, color, and aroma of the food.

I have been using it for 4 years and I have been amazed. Previously, I had a Tefal, I tried one from IKEA, one from Vicko, and two others from brands that I can't remember now. They all had the same problem, the steam had to come out and the valve had to whistle. This specific one, as soon as it reaches temperature, I lower the temperature to 2 and it doesn't release any steam for the rest of the time. This is very important, especially in winter when you have closed windows. The only negative thing is that after four years, the handle broke off from the lid because it is very sensitive. I have posted a photo of it, you can see it in the front part with the blue caps. The replacement I ordered costs 33 euros and from what I read, they have reinforced it in that area. I have a post and a photo of the new handle, and of course, I think its price is overpriced. There are many others in the market for around fifty euros. I bought it for 150 euros, I don't think it's worth that much. The difference is big and of course, they are no longer made in Germany, they are manufactured in China. The biggest advantage for me is that it doesn't continue to release steam while cooking, and just for that, it's worth it, I believe. All the other brands release steam while cooking. As for the food, I can assure you with great certainty that after trying at least four brands all these years, they have similar cooking times and taste. The rubber needs to be replaced depending on the usage, it starts at 8 euros for an imitation one online, in stores it's over 15 euros, and it's not easy to find the small size for 6 liters, while the large size for 8 to 10 liters is very easy to find. I give it 4 stars only because of the price and the sensitive handle that broke, if they have actually improved it in the new one, it doesn't have any other issues. The evaluation has been made because of the 6-liter pot, the difference with the 8-liter one is only in size, all the other elements are the same compared to other pots. It is narrow and tall, I don't think there is another pot in this style, most of them have the same width as the 8-liter one. The advantage is that you can easily cover your food with water, unlike when it's wide. However, the disadvantage is that when you want to brown your meat, the bottom is too narrow, you have to do it in two batches. The only problem is with browning, but in cooking, I can say that it is an advantage that it is narrow and tall. I am coming back as soon as I changed the rubber, I found it through Skroutz basket from a store in Aigaleo for 13 euros, the original one. If you search for it, you will find it easily
A major disadvantage is the lack of adjustment in the first position of the valve. Basically, it only cooks in position 2. If I had known, I wouldn't have bought it, but I would have chosen the other model with adjustable pressure. In essence, it is not suitable for vegetables and legumes. Only meat.
I have had this specific model for 5 years now and it is the main cooking utensil I use daily! Very easy to use, quick cooking (the meat always turns out tender) and it is easy to clean. I recently bought one for my mother as well, as she wanted a lightweight pot that is easy to use. It is essential for anyone who wants to cook in a short amount of time!
This is the first pressure cooker I am buying, so I don't have a large comparison measure. I bought the 10-liter one because even though I cook for 2 people, I prepare a volume so we can eat more times (e.g., an entire package of legumes, 2 kilos of meat, etc.). I was impressed by how quickly and evenly it heats up, and you can sauté and give color to the meat at the beginning of cooking. With a regular pot, I struggled a lot to achieve this, and the meat would turn out somewhat "boiled." I mention this as an extra bonus since I often find myself tempted to use it even when the recipe doesn't require using a pressure cooker for boiling. As for its main function (as a pressure cooker), it is also excellent. Fast, easy to use, no losses, generally everything works as it should. A small downside is its weight, which is a bit tiring when washing, but I understand that it couldn't be different due to its size (10 liters) and the quality of the material.
The best gift I have ever received! Very easy to use, the food is ready very quickly. It is truly perfect! It is worth it and then some
Get it with your eyes closed!! Very easy to use, safe, and easy to clean!! It's worth every penny and more!!
It is wonderful! I wonder why everyone doesn't have a pot to cook with! It is quick and safe! Get it with your eyes closed! Max, if you want 20 minutes of cooking time... I made chickpeas in 18 minutes, beef stew in 20 minutes, and minced meat in 10 minutes.
I have had it for about 1.5 years and I am very satisfied! It has solved my problems. I cook everything in much less time than with a regular pot. There are no losses at all and it is amazing! I believe that such a cookware is an investment for a lifetime. The only negative thing I have to say is that it is a bit heavy and makes washing a little difficult. Other than that, it is perfect. I highly recommend it.
Working season (those who know, know) has really saved me. I have food in 1 hour. Very safe and fast. I have bought the 8lt one easily makes food for 4-5 people. Worth its money
I was the owner of a Carina since '88. The valve broke, spare parts are not available so buying a new pressure cooker is the only option. New technology, faster cooking times, lighter, all good except for one observation, it's too tall. It could be like the old ones, wider and shorter. A little downside. It's not possible to live without a pressure cooker when you work and have a family. I recommend it. Also, if there is the financial possibility, prefer the quad set.
Very good pressure cooker but it was too big for me and I returned it, and I am still searching, I haven't decided yet which one I will get!!!! Probably 8 liters.
I didn't even bother looking for another company when I wanted the pressure cooker, it's really very good. It is heavy and well made, from a safety point of view what they have done with the button and the indication that it has closed correctly or not is very smart. Overall excellent. The only complaint is that sometimes there is leakage at the points where the steam escapes, it happens rarely, maybe it's my fault and I may be putting too much water!
Recent purchase, very fast cooking.. I suggest a little cooking without the lid at the end for better results
Very good purchase this specific pressure cooker. We had the same model for 10 years and we bought the same one again because we needed a second pressure cooker. Highly recommended and worth its money. Don't bother with other cheap pressure cookers.
I will say what everyone who was late to discover the value of the pressure cooker says... What was I doing all this time!!!
It is very easy to use and safe because if you don't release the steam, the lid doesn't open. You save time and money and the food is clearly more delicious. It's worth its money. And I really think it's the top brand in its category! I wouldn't choose any other...
My first pressure cooker. It is excellent. I use it on a gas stove. When the pressure rises, it barely has a flame, which means it is very economical.
We never had a pressure cooker... now I want to get another one for my parents. The food cooks very quickly, the meat becomes tender, and the legumes don't need to be boiled for hours.
If it doesn't close properly (some people at home had difficulty the first few times because they didn't want to read the instructions), it simply loses water from the lid (logical since we didn't close it properly). The 6L size is a bit big for 2 people, but we were used to cooking larger portions anyway (logical since without a pressure cooker, it takes a long time).
The best there is! It is clearly the "invention" of cooking! Besides the speed, which is clearly faster, the taste of the food is much more delicious!
I wonder what I was thinking all these years and I didn't decide to buy a pressure cooker. I have saved time and money in my life. It cooks everything in times that I had not imagined, without needing to be over the food, without the house smelling, without the whole process taking me an hour at least, without the kitchen getting dirty. And of course, I bought this specific one because it is the best in its category for many years. A purchase that quickly paid off and additionally I have saved time and money as I now use less energy for cooking.
I have had it for twelve (12) years, so I can be completely objective. I have two Fissler pots that my mother bought in 1986 and they cook better than the ones I received as a gift from a well-known store. I had, before this one, a pressure cooker from another manufacturer, for obvious reasons I do not mention which one. Well, it is safe to use, absolutely safe, fast, and reliable. So many years, so many meals, it didn't even ask for a gasket. No problem at all. It is literally my assistant in the kitchen because thanks to it, I save both valuable time and cost, as it consumes minimal energy. Every penny is worth it and now I will also buy the smaller one because this one is too big for my family.
Following the usage instructions that accompany it, you will have no problem. There are no odors.
I have been using it for 7 months. I fell in love with it from the first cooking, octopus in wine in 20 minutes. Beef in 45 minutes instead of the 4 hours it used to take. It saves both time and electricity. I was impressed that even the pepper smelled during cooking, something that doesn't happen with regular pots. It doesn't come with a recipe booklet, but if you find one from an old pressure cooker, it works. I found it from my sister and noted that I was interested. The only thing that bothers me is that it is heavy to wash and it can be tiring for everyday use. I am thinking of getting a 6-liter one for convenience. Very good quality. It is worth its money. Maintain it as the instructions say and you have nothing to worry about.
Very good pressure cooker, it has saved my hands. Especially cooking legumes is done in no time. Rarely does it have some minor leaks (liquids come out from the valve) but nothing significant.
Easy to use and clean, cooks quickly, and is perfect for one person (makes a large quantity and freezes in portions - 4 or 5). It is an amazing purchase and investment. I am satisfied with its weekly use for 6 months.
As a pressure cooker, it is quite good, but when you want to do a quick release of the pressure from the valve, it releases liquids. When I tried it at first with water, there was no problem, but with food, I wait for it to lose pressure and temperature on its own for about 15 minutes and then I do a quick release. That's how it works better.
Seemingly good due to the name. However, the durability is questionable, especially at such a price. The components are relatively loose and personally, they seem unreliable to me. With the 6lt version, you will get a long and narrow version which is limited in size due to its narrowness.
I have had it for 3 years. It is a heavy, high-quality construction. If it closes well, it does not leak. I am completely satisfied!
I wonder why I didn't buy a pressure cooker for so many years. Simply unbelievable. One of my best purchases!! I highly recommend it!! Delicious and fast food!
I bought it for 160€ (8L) three weeks ago, mainly for legumes and vegetables because I wanted to cook faster. Before this, I had no idea how a pressure cooker works and I was afraid of it. Initially, I was thinking of getting a smaller and more economical one, but after researching, I decided to get something good that would last. I am very satisfied with the build quality and the way it cooks. It is VERY fast, very easy to use, and NOTHING sticks to it!
Vegetables and legumes in less than 10 minutes.
I definitely recommend it.
