I bought it after reading good reviews about 'good hold, nice scent, shiny' etc. It has nothing to do with those comments. I would rather have jelly than my hair fall out a year earlier

One of the best pomades. No recommendations needed. Strong hold, wet look, natural result. Before application, dry your hair and read the instructions on the back.

I got the red and the blue to try..the red is soft..the blue is the one I wanted..strong hold, wet look..I have long and frizzy hair..so I wanted strong hold and to tame them because otherwise my hair gets frizzy..I reordered it

Positives:

1. Strong (and nice) scent. I mean, sometimes I can smell the pomade even when I'm outside. Personally, I don't mind this.
2. Very decent hold, although not as strong as it promises (I analyze below).
3. Rinses out easily and doesn't leave residue.

Negatives:

1. This is a relatively small drawback for me, but I agree with some comments that it doesn't work as easily in the hair as other pomades do. Of course, I think it's unfair to compare it with the red Uppercut, because the Uppercut offers a hold of 7/10, while the blue Reuzel is supposed to be 10/10, so it's reasonable that it's a bit harder to work with.
2. I don't consider the hold to be 10/10. If you wear a helmet or if several hours pass, some areas might need to be worked on again. Also, it can't easily tame very short hair.

Years of using Uppercut products, I decided to try Reuzel, the blue one. It's fantastic!
1) Nice scent
2) Strong hold for hours
3) Gives that wet look I'm looking for if the hair is slightly damp before application
4) With a small amount of pomade on short hair, it's perfect, doesn't require much product.
5) Washes out easily.

If you want a strong hold for hours and a wet look result, you get it with your eyes closed!

The best thing I have found for hair for long lengths of five fingers and above, strong hold, smells super and you can shape them as you like.
In addition, they last for hours and even with wind they do not break but have a natural look and resemble a wet look.
The best thing from Reuzel

In the most sparse hair, it doesn't give volume, it's like a very soft jelly, a lot of fragrance, and nothing else; the hold doesn't last long, it falls

It was one of my first and favorite pomades. I really liked its scent. I had read in a review that someone considered it superior to the blue one. I had wondered why. Now I will agree with that friend, as the blue one is quite hard and adds weight to the hair. I can't give it the volume I want, it makes it fall under the weight and it takes quite a while to dry and harden.
It has a very unique scent, like honey, it washes out very easily from the hair, but that's it. I now consider the red one the best pomade by far. And even more top-notch, as always, is the red one from uppercut.

In the positives: Its scent and the initial styling in the first few hours of use.
In the negatives: It excessively oils the hair and the hold doesn't last for many hours. It is also very difficult to apply, quite thick.
I would not easily buy it again..

For quite some time, I was using Mate. This one here has a wetter result and with a little water, it does an amazing job. Especially if you put water after hours, it's like you applied the product again.

Strong hold that lasts. With a little water, you can freshen up your hair and change the style if you want.

But I always choose the blue one for the scent. It's characteristic like nothing else, warm and sweet.
When I use a lot of pomade, I don't wear cologne.

The product does what it promises, it has strong hold and the hair stays in place no matter what hairstyle you choose. Obviously, it doesn't work on curls or for anyone who wants a matte finish. It also washes out easily when shampooing.

Very good, I have used Uppercut, Suavecito, Bluebeard's Revenge, and Reuzel Blue. It is the best for me, very good hold and natural, and by far the best scent.

With very little quantity, you have a wet look that lasts all day without sticking to the hair. Incredible product!!!

reuzel and only reuzel is for me one of the best pomades and I really like it on my hair since I have thick hair... I have also tried upercut matte but it didn't work for my hair

I have tried everything on my hair. From the cheapest to this specific product, which is the best in terms of fragrance and results it offers. I also recommend it for someone who has dry skin, etc. To sum up, I have one thing to say. You get what you pay for. Fragrance, results, it sticks the hair to the desired limit, meaning what you want. I would buy it again.

What anyone expects from a gel pomade, strong hold, good shine even when it has dried, without making the head feel like a helmet like with gels. The scent is also perfect, like a vintage product. One of the most value for money products!

One of the best water-based pomades I have tried. It provides the hold you want for medium to long length hair. It is not good for summer months as it softens from the heat and loses its styling ability. Between this one and Uppercut, I will prefer this one. It washes out very easily, leaving the shampoo foam on your head for as long as you take a shower. Rinse it off and you're ready with zero greasiness.

The best value for money pomade at the moment. The cheapest ones don't have such a good hold and the most expensive ones don't offer anything extra.

I believe that for curly unruly hair, this was the only product that actually does the job and for me, the only one that is worth it and I would buy again from Reuzel. Hello, this particular product from the company is very nice. I have tried many brands, but with this one, I was speechless. Let's start with the scent. Its scent is very nice and impressive, it lasts for many hours. The hold on the hair is also excellent, it is quite easy to apply, just rub it well in your palms and then apply it on dry hair! And one more thing I noticed is that it doesn't come off as easily from the hair in the shower like some others...

If you use it correctly (meaning on dry hair and not wet), it is excellent although I would recommend it for medium-length hair because otherwise you end up using a lot of product without any result since there are other Reuzel products for longer hair like the pink one. Overall, the best Reuzel product and believe me, I have tried them all.

Quite good hold on short hair, very nice scent that lasts for several hours. It doesn't stick to the hair. Now I only choose Reuzel products.
