The D-Link GO-SW-5E 5-Port Fast Ethernet Easy Desktop Switch allows you to set up a fast, reliable, and efficient wired network in your home or office. Connect the GO-SW-5E to multiple computers to share files and folders or connect it to a router to share an Internet connection.


Easy high-speed networking

The GO-SW-5E features 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port detection, with LED indicators for each port, allowing you to quickly discern connection status and activity. The ports detect network speed and automatically negotiate between 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX, as well as between full and half-duplex, to immediately achieve the maximum possible speed for each connected device. Additionally, the GO-SW-5E supports Auto MDI/MDIX Crossover, for direct connection of all ports to a server, hub, router, or switch, using a standard straight-through twisted-pair Ethernet cable.

Reliability and Immediate Installation

The GO-SW-5E is a Plug-and-Play device that requires no configuration, making installation simple and hassle-free. Instantly connect multiple computers to share files, music, and videos throughout your home or office, or even create a multi-player gaming environment. The 802.3x flow control on each port minimizes packet loss during reception when the port's buffer is full. This provides a more reliable connection for all your connected devices.

Environmentally Friendly

The GO-SW-5E supports D-Link Green technology, which drastically reduces energy consumption. The ports automatically disable if no computer is connected, significantly reducing energy consumption without interrupting network connectivity. Additionally, the switch automatically detects the length of the connected Ethernet cables and adjusts energy usage accordingly, without affecting performance. This significantly reduces overall energy consumption, which not only saves you money but also helps the environment.

Compact and Silent

The GO-SW-5E has a sleek and compact design, allowing you to place it anywhere without obstruction. The power socket and Ethernet ports are located at the back of the switch, enabling easy cable management. The GO-SW-5E does not use a fan, allowing it to operate quietly yet efficiently.

    Attention, if you want to connect 2 devices using a Power Line starter kit for internet from single-phase power, it is possible that the second device will not work, only one of the two will. It is better to get the TP-LINK TL-SG105, this works comfortably with up to 3 devices connected to it using Power Line.
