Description

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City offers an authentic third-person team-based shooter experience within the dark and threatening universe of Resident Evil. The setting of the Resident Evil universe provides a rich backdrop for the action, creating a unique and thrilling threefold threat. The undead and Bio-Organic Weapons (B. O. W.) add to the experience as players compete against both the opposing team and this third unpredictable element that can only exist in the warped universe of Resident Evil. It is September 1998, and the action focuses on the cursed city of Raccoon City and the horrific consequences of the deadly explosion of the T-virus. In need of covering up the incident, Umbrella commands an elite team to enter Raccoon City to destroy all evidence of the explosion and eliminate any survivors. At the same time, the American government has quarantined the city and sent its own team of elite soldiers to determine the source of the mysterious explosion. Players assume the role of a soldier in the Umbrella Security Service (U. S. S.), competing alone or in teams of up to four players in a battle against all competitive forces operating in Raccoon City.

  • Team-based shooter set in the dark and threatening universe of Resident Evil
  • Threefold threat as the undead and B. O. W. add to the action
  • Compete alone in the campaign as a member of the Umbrella Security Service or in co-op battles with up to four players
  • Rewrite the story of the explosion in Raccoon City. Visit classic moments from Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 and watch events unfold from the perspective of the Umbrella Security Service
  • Return of beloved RE enemies, iconic locations, and characters, including Leon S. Kennedy, who is on your target list
  • Competitive online multiplayer modes offer a unique gaming experience thanks to the three-way battle between the Umbrella Security Service, U.S. Special Ops, and the threat of the undead and B. O. W.

My wife gave it to me as a gift and it is really really nice. It is something else, I highly recommend it if someone wants to get it.

I constantly play this Resident Evil game, mostly for the online mode, which, if there weren't any hackers, would be one of my favorites. Basically, it has a lot of weapons, it's in third person and not first! It has freedom of movement, which others don't have. It is part of the series' story, quite atmospheric with plenty of action. However, it also has many flaws, such as the controls, some stupid enemy attacks, useless weapons in the store, and the campaign should be complete and not divided into stages. Despite receiving negative reviews, for me, it is one of the best and should also be released on PS4.

Just a good game but with many flaws, like being too small as a game and its gameplay not particularly good. The only good thing it has is the online feature.
