The FTM-200DE is the new VHF/UHF C4FM/FM mobile transceiver model from Yaesu, with 50W output power.

The new FTM-200DE is a C4FM Digital and analog transceiver with a single receiver that offers reliable and stable 50W output power. The heavy-duty heatsink is equipped with FACC (Funnel Air Convection Conductor). Its speaker provides clear and crisp reception sound, with a 3W output power, suitably tuned for radio communication. The 2-inch color display offers high visibility and highlights the operating band frequency with selectable color – White, Blue, or Red. The front panel of the FTM-200DE is detachable and can be mounted in the most desirable operating position.

The YAESU PMG (Primary Memory Group) function on the FTM-200DE allows PMG-SR (Primary Memory Group with a Single Receiver) monitoring. The displayed frequency can record up to 5 PMG channels, regardless of VFO or memory channel operation. You can select AUTO or MANUAL mode.

The 1104 memory channels available can be programmed with 16-character alphanumeric tags. The MAG (Memory Auto Grouping) function allows automatic sorting of memory channels into each band, ALL, AIR, VHF, UHF, and OTHERS.

The C4FM digital communication functions, such as Automatic Mode Select (AMS), Digital Group ID (DG-ID) operation, and Smart Navigation Function are available with the new FTM-200DE. The FTM-200DE supports Worldwide Internet Communication WIRES-X. A Fixed Node using an HRI200 or a Portable Digital Node can be easily set up with the optional SCU-40 cable kit.

The new Custom Function List (CFL) of the FTM-200DE quickly recalls a list of frequently used functions by simply pressing the [F Menu] key. By default, 10 functions are listed and up to 8 functions can be customized from the 124 setting menu items.
