Built with expertise from high-quality materials, this bag is made to withstand whatever you need to put it through.
Features:
Detailed description
The main compartment has dimensions of 35 x 25 x 50 cm and is accessible through a large zippered opening. The inside of the lid features loop strips for attaching accessories with hooks. The main compartment is a cavernous space with two mesh pockets, one at each end, to help with the organization of smaller items.
The external side pocket has dimensions of 35 x 23 x 5 cm and is designed for quick access and organization of smaller items and A4 documents. The back wall features two flat mesh pockets and a D-ring and two loops for securing valuables via cord or carabiners. The inside of the front wall features a loop for attaching any accessories with hooks.
The flat external hook-and-loop closure pockets have dimensions of 24 x 20 cm, fitting A5 documents and similar smaller items.
Two 10 x 15 cm loop fields on the side and end of the bag accommodate most name tapes and a number of other identifiers. Any D-ring can also be used to attach name tags.
We make an extra effort to provide the best possible carrying experience. The length of the carrying handles keeps the bag comfortably at a convenient carrying height, offering good control. Each end has a carrying handle for comfortable lifting during transport. Six steel D-rings are used to secure the included adjustable shoulder strap, offering various orientations to suit personal preference.
The D-rings are also attachment points for optional padded shoulder straps.
Adjustment and customization
The loop strips inside the main compartment and the side flap of the bag accept various accessories, pouches, and organizers that attach with hook-and-loop. This allows you to customize your bag according to your preferences or integrate it into a specialized tool kit for whatever you need.
The closed-cell foam padding inside the zippered lid and the bottom of the bag can easily be removed, replaced, or reinforced. This allows the end user to easily customize the bag with additional padding or plastic sheet inserts, if that extra level of protection or insulation is required.
The Keikka bag series can use an optional (sold separately) waist belt for backpack carry. When carrying the bag as a backpack, the closed-cell foam padding inside the lid provides a basic level of comfort on your back, even when carrying heavy loads in the bag. When a bag like this carries a backpack, it's supposed to be as uncomfortable as possible, let's face it - it will never be as comfortable as a real backpack. Instead of building our bags with non-ergonomic, overly long carry handles that fold as shoulder straps, we decided to make it a separate option for those who really need it, allowing us to properly design each carry option for its intended function.
High-quality materials and construction
The Keikka bag series is made to withstand a long lifespan. The carry handles are constructed from a single length of 50mm wide webbing that wraps around the bottom of the bag, sandwiched between two layers of 1000D Cordura. Stress points are reinforced with double stitching and the seams are finished with binding tape to prevent fraying. All load-bearing buckles are made of steel and will likely outlast the rest of the bag.
The majority of the materials we use for our commercial production are the same ones we use for the equipment of the Finnish Defense Forces and other defense and security customers. Our most commonly used fabric in load-carrying equipment is the extremely durable 1000D Cordura, according to FDF specifications, with a polyurethane coating on the inside. The webbing and tape we use are, again according to FDF specifications, strong polyester mesh in various widths and thicknesses for different applications.
