The Razer Barracuda X is a versatile, lightweight wireless gaming headset designed for seamless use on PC, console, and smartphones. With the support of smart dual wireless connectivity design, conveniently switch between high-performance gaming at home and seamless mobile use on the go.
Quick switch between Razer hyperspeed wireless technology and Bluetooth
With the ability to connect to a device via 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth simultaneously, SmartSwitch allows seamless switching between the two for unparalleled convenience. Calls from a connected Bluetooth device will be automatically handled, so you can easily take the call and switch back to game audio without ever removing the headset.
The Do Not Disturb feature can be enabled in the Razer Audio app if you want to block incoming calls from being handled, while a dedicated button on the headset allows you to manually switch between HyperSpeed Wireless and Bluetooth audio sources.
All-day comfort both indoors and outdoors
Whether you're at home on a gaming marathon or having fun during your daily commute, the Razer Barracuda X has you covered when it comes to your comfort.
High Performance Audio
The patented 3-part driver design makes it possible to hear extremely high, mid, and low levels that do not muddy, providing a more dynamic listening experience for deeper immersion. Upgraded with titanium-coated diaphragms for superior clarity, the drivers allow for truly vivid and accurate sound reproduction.
Advanced Capture & Control Whenever You Need It
Although the microphone is tuned to suppress ambient noise for improved voice pickup during gaming, it can also be easily removed to make the headset more travel-friendly for mobile use.

Overall, they are good headphones, with good quality sound and microphone. They can be connected simultaneously to 2 devices (e.g., via Bluetooth to a phone and wireless to a computer). They have very good battery life.
After about 2 years and minimal use, they simply stopped pairing with the dongle and I am not the only one. Many others online had the same issue! Be careful!
The product is flawless, I bought it from Public for 120€. I needed a quick solution because my old headphones (Logitech G430) peeled after 2 years. Flawless sound, satisfactory volume, and incredible bass; I didn't expect such good bass from headphones. For the 120€ I paid, I would have liked something more, but for 80€ which is the price on Skroutz, it's worth it more than enough; I don't think there is competition in any comparable headphones
One of the best choices for this budget, very comfortable since they have memory foam, connects with whatever is out there via Bluetooth or USB port, also the sound is very loud and has good bass and the surround sound is amazing. Really one of the best purchases
I got it six months ago to replace the SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless that gave up the ghost (after 3 years of use). I wanted a relatively cheap, immediate solution accepting that I would make some compromises in quality. Yet it positively surprised me as at a price significantly cheaper than the cheapest SteelSeries, it does not fall short in anything. The sound is quite detailed with good spatial information to understand from which direction things are happening in gaming. It is extremely convenient, with a good fit and light enough not to tire or heat up after long sessions. It has all the necessary buttons (volume, power, switch wireless - bluetooth, microphone mute) well designed so you can find and recognize them easily by touch. It also supports a jack connection, while it has very stable wireless and bluetooth, without lag even from adjacent rooms. The microphone is very decent, while its battery is incredible. At least double the autonomy compared to the Arctics 1, you forget to charge them. On the downside, its bass is weak but it's hard to find something good in this price category, while its maximum volume could be a bit better. The isolation provided by the ear cushions is not good, so you hear everything from the surrounding environment. Also, it's a shame that it doesn't connect with Razer's software, Synapse, so you can see the battery level from there or provide you with some equalizing and customization options. Overall, they are very good for their price. The build quality and materials seem okay, but only time will tell.
As headphones, they are flawless. Both in terms of build quality and sound and battery. You honestly forget to charge them. Very rarely do you lose connection, or sometimes you might hear some noise from the microphone, but very rarely. However, I have connected so many things to my PC that I honestly wonder how they work. I can't blame the headphones for anything; I have a very loaded PC and the sound goes through various programs. The only downside, and I blame RAZER for this, is that they do not connect with RAZER SYNAPSE, so you can't see the battery percentage or any sound settings. So you buy Spatial for the sound settings, and the sound elevates to another level. Excellent choice
the usb-c dongle does not work, the headphones via bluetooth do not connect to the ps5 so if you are looking for wireless headphones better to look elsewhere
I bought them about 2 months ago. They have good sound and bass, not anything outrageous, however, I searched and found a custom equalizer that enhances the experience even more. The battery is good, it lasts about a week with wireless use on the PS5 and usage of around 3 hours/day.
They are not tiring on the head, they isolate quite well and they don't heat you up particularly.
The negatives I have are that you can only see the battery percentage through a mobile or computer.
Even when they have charged normally and then you connect them to your mobile, it shows you the old indication of the battery percentage. To "unlock" them, you have to activate them while they are connected with the charging cable. There is an article with the solution on the internet.
Very nice headphones with many features like Bluetooth, wireless USB-C dongle, and even a removable microphone, but sometimes the sound glitches both from the headphones and the microphone, but personally, it doesn't bother me too much
6-month daily use in long gaming sessions on PS5. very good sound (without these I can't play anymore, you feel like something is missing) very good bass and you can customize them as you wish from the app.
nice build - quick to connect with all the methods available with all the devices I tried
the microphone does not have noise cancelling and the serious issue I have is that every now and then they make a strange sound and I saw this mentioned in other comments too. sometimes it was so continuous that the headphones would turn off by themselves! I sent them back and they replaced them, but today while using the new ones, that sound was heard again for a bit (I don't hear this sound when playing from the speakers or from my old cheaper headphones, so it probably isn't the PS)
at the 90 euros I paid, I don't know if there are better ones; it's the first time I spent this much on headphones. if I had the chance, I would spend a little more for better ones (so you could call them perfect!)
After a week the headphones started to close on their own within 1 min of not using them. Before you ask they were fully charged.
Furthermore every time I power up the PC The hyper speed wireless USB need to be repluged in order to use them otherwise the THX audio does not recognise them.
Their battery is pretty good for now and the have good noise cancellation. The microphone I haven't heard yet in a recording.
I gave 3 stars because I have to go through the process every time I open my pc and because the audio with Bluetooth is not so good as hyperspeed wireless.
Rarely I can hear a small gup in the sound while hearing music. it happened twice in a month since I have them.
To sum up if you want cheap wireless headphones these are OK.
But I recommend spending some more money and getting the corsair Void Elite wireless headset.
Epic mic
Good sound
Generally better.
I have been using the headphones since December 2023 in combination with a Razer Seiren Mini desktop, mainly for calls via PC but also for games that benefit from surround sound. Their microphone is of good quality, and the buttons are in a practical position.
Their biggest advantage is their absolutely exceptional range with the use of the 2.4 GHz USB dongle. In a large house of 178 sq.m., they can be used wirelessly practically throughout the house, even with many intermediate brick walls.
Connectivity with Bluetooth is easy, and it connects easily to the compatible devices I tested (laptop, Chromecast HD with Android TV, mobile phone).
The sound is good, and I found it very satisfactory for both video games that can take advantage of surround sound, as well as for movies and series.
I am deducting one star because the only negative that has arisen is that the app for 7.1 is frankly terrible. When opening it on the PC, it will start from two to eight times without the 7.1 being activated, and I have to manually close all its windows before I can enable 7.1 normally through right-clicking on the background applications in the taskbar.

Under 90€, I believe there is no competitor in wireless. 3 connections: wifi, Bluetooth, and Jack; I don't know of another headset that has this. Nice sound, not very loud though, it reaches a normal volume. Very good microphone
Excellent product, to tell the truth, especially considering its price. I have connected it to my PS5 via the 2.4GHz adapter. I only have one issue, which I think is only happening to me, but it has only happened twice MAX. The sound has distorted for a few seconds, but it doesn't cut off, it just sounds very scuffed. A simple reboot fixes it. I have no complaints, and it has been very convenient for me since it is wireless, and it adds to the overall aesthetic feel. Additionally, I don't have to carry the controller everywhere. Lastly, when I go downstairs to the kitchen from my room, the connection is average since my room is far away from the kitchen. I am very satisfied and highly recommend it
I have had these headphones for about 1.5 years. Very satisfied I have to say all these 2 years.
POSITIVES:
Sound quality is very good for both music and gaming, I walk around the house wirelessly and the signal doesn't get lost when I listen to something, but the microphone sticks at a long distance and you sound like a robot but it's logical. The truth is that I have never tried them wired because I have an issue with the headphone jack and I never had the chance to use them that way. Also, you can use them while they are charging without any issues (it just makes a small sound while charging, if you listen to music or something else you have no problem).
NEGATIVES:
The only complaints I have are that (after 1.5 years) the microphone plays tricks on me and cuts me off while I speak (In this case I just take it out, blow on it a bit, put it back in the jack and it's fine). They have never fallen on me, just due to the plastic construction, they won't withstand a lot...
EXCELLENT, perfect sound, ability to switch between sides, mute button, connection with Bluetooth and with cable and with adapter for all desired options, excellent microphone, also comes with charger. Personally, I got them for gaming on Fortnite on the Switch and I think it's the best choice I've made. I highly recommend them
I come from wired razer kraken. I hesitated a bit to go wireless because of the potential delay that would occur. In terms of construction, they are quite high quality and elegant as headphones. Lightweight and isolate the sound quite well. Personally, I loved their sound! Very powerful sound and nice full bass! Their battery lasts quite a long time and their delay is minimal. Their microphone could be better. Personally, they saved me the hassle and I don't have to deal with cables all the time. Overall, I am very satisfied and would recommend them to someone who wants to go for wireless budget headphones.
Imagine paying 90 euros for headphones (Razer) and the software itself (Razer Synapse 3) doesn't support it, meaning you have to rely on the LED light to know the battery level.
The microphone is 3.5mm aux, okay, it's great in terms of quality but it's a shame.
With 90 euros, I expected much more.
Corsair, once again Corsair (Virtuoso), is the best.
After six months, my conclusions are as follows:
Quite good construction quality, I never felt that something could break (unless someone hits them out of frustration).
Decent sound, you can hear everything very well.
The microphone is very good, I never had complaints about not being heard or sounding strange.
The connectivity is as advertised, they start playing as soon as you put them on.
And finally, you just forget to charge them, their battery life is excellent.
It connects via USB-C dongle to any device you can imagine, from laptops and PCs to mobile phones and consoles. But it also has Bluetooth, so you can switch whenever you want and answer, for example, a call on your mobile phone. Of course, it can also connect to a PS5. Overall, it's very good. It has a clean microphone and very clear sound. It also has a metal stand! I don't know why they say it can break. Metal stands don't break, I don't think it will break.
Sorry guys, but I don't understand why everyone gave such a bad review to the headset. It's really very good, it has high-quality sound at max volume and the bass is very strong. Every time I listen to phonk on these headphones, I enjoy it. GET YOURS, I RECOMMEND IT
The adapter that makes it wireless suddenly broke while I was taking care of it like my own eyes for 5 months of minimal use, and the Mute button since the first day... go away, it's not worth it
Very good sound quality and comfort on the head after many hours of use. What makes them not worth their money, however, is their plastic construction, as with most Razer products under 100 euros. They broke in two months without much force.
