I had bought it for a family member, they used it for 1 year, wanted another one, so I took it. I am satisfied with this mid-range phone.
- It is quite fast. It doesn't have unnecessary apps, just the basics from Google. If I want something alternative, I add it.
- Camera, just fine. Recently it received some software updates that are fun (object removal, blur reduction, etc.).
- I don't know if it typically supports 5G, it mentions LTE, but I just did the classic Ookla speedtest and it hit 130Mbps (!)
- User-friendly, it’s not huge, which works for ME.
- Bright screen and clear.
NEGATIVES-ANNOYANCES:
- Although Android is generally known for its customization options, it doesn't let you remove the Google bar at the bottom and a weather app at the top. So you lose space for 2 lines on the home screen.
- Battery drains quite quickly (maybe it was abused by the previous user for 1 year, constantly drained, charged all night).
- Fingerprint sensor, not so good.
- It’s not a new model of course, but even though it's Google, it will have updates for another 2-2.5 years and the Android version will go up to 15 and that’s it. OK...
Overall, I would buy it again.
Although I am closing my circle with the honest pixel, I owe a review! At 300-350, it is perhaps one of the best choices for a mobile phone in its category (I'm talking about 2023) with excellent camera optimization with the software. Although the sensor is not new, it performs exceptionally well in photos, especially during the day, but even in low-light night shots, where the "noise" is minimal. The processor performs well in everyday use, but the battery "drops" relatively quickly in terms of performance after 2-3 months. It lasts for about 8-10 hours with surfing and regular use. The fingerprint sensor has an issue, it is not the fastest or most accurate. It loses one star for the known issues that those who buy it are aware of, such as network problems, etc. Although the situation has improved in the past month with Volte on Vodafone. In my case, which was a bit extreme and unfortunate as it happened in the second week (it fell from a low height without its case and the screen broke), there is no official service option and immediate availability of a replacement screen (genuine, etc.). After that, the already slow fingerprint sensor became less sensitive (this does not apply to the factory device, it is just an after-sale condition that I have to share). And finally, after 11 months of use, raindrops fell on the screen, causing the top part around the camera to "die". It is likely an issue with the after-sale screen adhesive or something else. My unfortunate experience cannot overshadow the positives of the phone.
After many years of using Android, finally a true value for money device. The camera is epic, video stabilization is equally good, battery is good, fast, and rooted, it truly unfolds all its capabilities. Five stars!!!
Good and fast OS, good camera, beautiful mobile. Unfortunately, the battery is mediocre, as well as the charging being slow. Also, the screen response in certain areas is slow. 3.5/5.
I bought the phone last January for €310. I have it as a second phone and I haven't put a SIM card in it, I bought it to try out a pixel phone. After months of frequent, almost daily, use (internet, social media, games, photos, videos), I have the following to report:
- It has a pretty good screen and the size helps you use it with one hand. The refresh rate is 60 Hz but it doesn't cause any issues when scrolling. The bezels are not particularly large, but they could be smaller. Overall, it is a sleek and fast phone.
- The functionality is very good, with almost all the features found in more expensive pixels, making the usage enjoyable and easy. It receives all updates promptly and, of course, it is on Android 13.
- The battery is small and no matter how good the management is, it doesn't last long even with moderate use. However, a big downside is that it charges very slowly. There is no wireless charging.
- The camera is very good, but only during the day. The nighttime photos have a lot of noise and in low light, they are often not visible. The front camera is average. The video is good during the day and mediocre at night. Of course, with the hardware being old and mediocre, I wouldn't expect anything better. On the other hand, there is a big advantage, which is the amazing software that can completely transform most average or bad photos. There are many good tools and photo or video editing produces incredible results.
I also want to mention some issues that I don't know if I have alone or if they happen to others:
- The Wi-Fi often disconnects or the signal is quite weak. I noticed this in the last 2 months. I don't know if it has to do with some update.
- When I enter a page, especially in the newsfeed, in 90% of cases, it takes a long time to load. However, once it opens, it continues to other pages without any problem.
Overall, it is a good phone but with some limitations. If someone wants a beautiful phone with clean Android and good daytime photos, they could get it. However, if someone wants a good camera overall and a good battery, I think it would be better to look elsewhere. Especially if they want a good camera, I believe that with the same or even less money, they can find something better

My wife accidentally put it in the washing machine for a 1-hour cycle and it didn't suffer any damage, very good video and photo quality. I bought it for €350 and I think it has no rival for that price
Very good phone that definitely worth its money.
I would like a little more battery life, but usually it lasts the day if you don't use it constantly (which sometimes I do).
It is beautiful and durable (it has fallen many times without a case, on a smooth floor, and it didn't suffer any damage). I noticed to my surprise that it is harder to leave fingerprints on it compared to other phones I had in the past.
It is lightweight and its size fits in my pockets, and it is easy to use with my small hands (that was the main reason I bought it, its size).
The camera, especially in portrait mode, is very good. It struggles a bit in low light and produces some noise, but it doesn't surprise me. The night mode, where you have to keep it still for a while to capture more light, is quite good.
I am reassured by the knowledge that it will receive updates directly from Google, and I am not afraid that it will start lagging as it gets older like devices from other companies. Of course, this is hypothetical for now, we will see.

An exceptional device, I will start with its positives.
Camera!
Incredible for a phone with such old lenses to take such great photos, even in low light conditions. The AI with its camera CPU does a fantastic job, as you can see in the sample photos I uploaded, including night shots. If I had to pick its strongest feature, it would be the camera, which surpasses even high-end smartphones.
UI, the Android experience is smooth, everything runs very smoothly without any lag. The apps open quickly, and switching between apps is very fast. After all, it's what characterizes having the Android operating system as it should be on every Android smartphone.
Sound, the sound quality is very good, I didn't expect it to be the best, but for its budget, it is very satisfactory and enjoyable for listening to music.
Video, in terms of video, although it records well, I would say it is average, and I would have liked it to be better. Of course, I don't miss it as much because I don't record videos very often, but for someone who is a big video enthusiast, if you're getting it for that reason, don't expect something very good compared to the camera.
Display, I wouldn't call it excellent since it has AMOLED, but it's not one of the powerful AMOLED displays. Nevertheless, it has good colors and looks nice with its 60Hz, which appears as if it's running at 90Hz, and the reason behind it is that it runs on pure Android.
Negatives
Selfie camera
While the rear camera is excellent, the same cannot be said for the front camera. It is a mediocre camera that should have been given more attention. I would have expected something better. It's not that it will bother you if you are an average user of the front camera, but if you are a selfie enthusiast, this is not the phone you are looking for, as it is not as good in this aspect, and there are better options at this price range.
Battery, here I didn't expect an amazing battery, but neither did I expect such a bad one. It's not the worst, but definitely not good. With heavy usage, it will last around 10-12 hours, and with regular usage, it will last a day. However, if you play games, etc., it will drain quickly. Unfortunately, it has slow charging compared to the technologies we have today. When I say slow, I mean a simple fast charging of 18W, not 30+.
Overall, the Pixel 6a is the best one can find at the price of €350. It offers a great experience with stock Android and one of the best cameras, but with poor sound quality.
The mobile phone FLIES.. I've had it for almost 4 months and it's incredibly fast. Its camera easily competes with the iPhone.. the photos it takes with the sun in front of it prove how good its camera and resolution are.. the battery is okay, it's not endless or maybe I use it too much.. Overall, it has never even slowed down. I have no issues with calls that some have reported. It's extremely good for its price.. I recommend it!
As a fan of pure Android, starting with the Galaxy Nexus, Motorola Moto G2, and then the Moto G52 (7 months ago, good for what you pay), I thought of trying the Pixel 6a, mainly because of the price compared to the 6 and 6 pro...
Positives: Convenient size, good screen, good camera (not as good as they describe it), software updates and security.
Negatives: The fingerprint scanner is downright useless, if it works 1 out of 2-3 times and without any consistency (and yes, I've done everything Google says, but no difference).
Heavy for its size and not well-balanced, with most of the weight at the bottom, resulting in it slipping from the palm (and yes, I use a silicone case).
The power button is upside down compared to other phones, meaning it is above the volume buttons, so whenever I want to increase the volume, I end up locking the phone.
It does not have wireless charging (a disadvantage for me), its battery barely lasts a day with typical use, calls, messages, emails, browsing, 20%-25% by late afternoon! (I haven't installed any social media apps because I don't use them). Also, significant battery consumption in idle mode (from 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM, 10%-12%!).
I use a Fast Charge (15W) charger and a Samsung cable, but it seems it is not compatible with this phone, as it only charges at around 4.5W-5.5W, 33% per hour, which means almost 3 hours from 0% to 100%!
The camera is good when there is good lighting, but in low light conditions, you have to keep it steady for at least 8-10 seconds (comparing to the iPhone 11, which only takes 3 seconds with better results). It also heats up a lot during camera usage. A phone capable of 4K with only one option of 128GB?
Most Google features do not work, such as call screening, geolocation, Glance, Weather, etc., due to geographical location (Europe).
It does not support 5G because, as I was informed by my (green) provider, "Google does not provide permission." As mentioned above.
Even though SMS Auto Fill is enabled, codes and OTPs received via SMS are not automatically filled in.
VoLTE & VoWiFi are disabled because Google does not provide a license for their use in the EU (ADB process to enable them), resulting in a downgrade from 4G to 3G during calls, which means almost nonexistent speed for data and related activities!
There is no authorized service center in case of damage.
It has frozen three times so far, with only four apps running (Gmail, Brave with 5 open tabs, Dialer, and SMS), and it required two restarts!
6 gigabytes of RAM is not enough, and it shows (Pixel 7a has 8GB).
Essentially, the Tensor G1 is a "repackaged" Exynos 2100, with all the issues of the latter (thermal throttling, stuttering, etc.).
June update: Hoping that the June update would solve some of the many issues faced by several users, such as battery consumption, fingerprint reader, night shots, etc., I downloaded it and can confidently say that it is even worse than before. The battery is even worse with slower charging and higher consumption, basically, it doesn't last me a day!
The fingerprint reader remained at the same levels, meaning it's a gamble whether it will work or not, resulting in the inability to use apps that require it to function.
The camera, as you can see from the comments on the Play Store, has become even worse in low-light conditions.
And it overheats with simple usage, something that didn't happen before the latest update.
Something I learned by searching on Google forums is that in order for "fast charging" to work, the charger needs to be at least 15W-20W PD type in combination with a USB C to USB C cable.
After purchasing 4 chargers, 3 Anker and 1 Samsung (total of €145), I achieved unstable charging, ranging from 12W-15.4W, from the initial 5W, and with the battery temperature rising to 43-45 degrees Celsius from 33-35! (Note that when the battery exceeds 40 degrees Celsius, the charging drops to 3W, presumably due to overheating.)
What Google is thinking and doing, even they don't know!
June Security Patch (19.4MB): Supposedly, Google acknowledges the issues with the fingerprint reader, throttling, overheating, camera, battery, etc., and with this update, they should have been fixed to a significant extent...
Unfortunately, even though all the above are mentioned in the Pixel 6a forums, with every update, it gets worse in every aspect!
23/7/23: I happened to be in an area with poor 3G/4G coverage, and while all the other phones had signal, once 2G was activated, the Pixel lost signal since it doesn't support 2G, except for "emergency situations," "Emergency Call 112."
So, in the end, you have to carry a second phone with you because Google...
24/7/23: The screen went black for 10"-15" and restarted twice on its own.
July Security Patch: Overheating, freezing, battery, fingerprint, and now, its speed, all just terrible.
I think Google, with the launch of the Pixel 7a, simply wants to make the 6a as bad as possible, and they're achieving that 100%!
2nd July Security Patch 11/7: Should I copy/paste the previous comment or just say that it couldn't get any worse? Actually, if there isn't a dramatic difference with the next update, then back to the Moto g52, which it replaced, which at least doesn't freeze and has signal everywhere, something very useful in a phone!
Android 14 feature update: Battery improved (somewhat), speed further reduced, SOC seems to be showing its age, camera somewhat better (during the day).
The fingerprint scanner didn't improve (even worse!), charging time became even slower, most "features" are for the US, it loses signal very easily in areas with poor 3G coverage, doesn't support 2G, resulting in the screen often displaying "Emergency Calls Only"!
15/2/04 Android 14 feature update & Security update: No improvement in anything, but 3-4 apps "sprouted" that didn't exist before, and of course, you can't delete or disable them, and the annoying thing is that they are only for the US and Nest.
The battery has become even worse, to the point where it needs to be charged twice a day!
Another thing I noticed is that, while on the Nokia G42 5G, you can activate from 2G up to 5G and Google Assistant works fine, on the Pixel, none of these is possible. When you say "OK Google" on the Pixel, it displays a message that it needs to download further "feature package," but instead of proceeding with the installation, it simply shows "Error unable to download." Because...?
P.S. The devices I use are not given to me as gifts, but I buy them with my own money, so I am not biased when it comes to the reviews I make about them, and I do not want to deceive or misinform potential buyers.
The only downside for me is the speaker, which distorts a bit when turned up all the way. The slow charging isn't too bad unless you're constantly on the go without access to a charger. The construction quality is very high, and I don't think I'll switch to another manufacturer as long as Google keeps producing phones at this level.
Update: At first, the battery may drain quickly, but after a while, it easily lasts a day.
I have had it for about a month now, and I am a heavy user of the phone, meaning I use it to open Excel sheets and have video calls simultaneously, and the battery has a satisfactory duration compared to the rest. The camera is excellent, but the selfie needs improvement.
Leaving aside my beloved iPhone 7 Plus in December 2020 after 3 years of use (the last year I suffered with the battery), I decided not to buy another expensive phone and not to hold onto a device for such a long time. The reason for my decision was that after two years of use, the battery performance objectively starts to decline.
I said it was better to buy a new device every year with a maximum cost of 300 euros and do my job decently, rather than be with a flagship phone and a charger in my hand from one point to another. I had no intention of marrying another phone.
Obviously, with this money, I couldn't buy anything other than a mid-range Android phone.
The Poco Phone X3 with its incredible battery (purchased for 220 euros with VAT exemption) turned out to be one of my best purchases and made me break my promise and keep the same phone for about 2.5 years. When I bought it, I knew that the camera couldn't compare to that of the iPhone, but all I cared about at that time was having a phone with a great battery, even if I sacrificed the good camera.
However, the truth is that during these 2.5 years, I missed my good camera and in the last period, I started the process of buying a new phone, resulting in me putting the Poco X3 aside. Any Android phone I saw felt like I was holding the Poco in my hands, so I didn't feel particularly excited. The phones I was following were the Xiaomi Note 12T, the OnePlus Nord 2T, and the Poco X5 Pro.
The fact that the Pixel 6a has one of the best cameras on the market and features clean Android software, made me take the risk and order a phone that I had never seen or held in my hands before.
Today, I received this phone, which is the most beautiful device I have ever held (peanut color).
I won't mention the negatives. They have been mentioned by others here.
On the positive side:
I never expected an Android phone to have such a camera. It can really be compared to phones that cost 1000 euros.
Clean Android is really the best. Minimal style without exaggeration.
The size is what a phone should have. Neither too big nor too small.
At this price of 299 euros with VAT exemption, it is a really great choice.
I don't know if I will ever buy a phone in the future that is not a Pixel. I am really very satisfied for now.

Take it with closed eyes, especially now that the price has dropped. I have tried countless mobile phones, and now I will stick only to Pixel. Never anything else. Speed-ball. Impeccable software, clean & free of any useless bloatware. Screen-sound-battery taken from mobile phones of multiple prices. And last but not least, the camera. Due to having a child, I wanted to always have a mobile phone with a good camera to capture anything. These photos I have with the Pixel6a I don't have from any other mobile phone, and even those of 1000+. Simple things. I have nothing to say, you have to see it to believe it. Especially at night, the videos (and especially the impeccable slow motion), stabilization and effects. The only thing I regret is the moments I missed and didn't capture with the 6a and I have photos from other mobile phones. The only unique flaw is the fingerprint that takes hours, but there are tricks to help it and as far as I know it gets better with use. All this and I haven't even mentioned the amazing capabilities of the tensor in live translation, the speed-response of android auto and thousands of others that you discover over time. It's worth 100 times its money, I recommend it immediately and unreservedly. Lack of 5g and fast charging do not personally bother me.
Very good mobile phone, only issue is the instability of the fingerprint sensor. It's worth its money, with very good software support.
In my opinion, the 6a is the best "budget" phone to have a good camera. The camera is fast, performs well in low light conditions, and produces decent videos.
Additionally, it has fast performance for basic tasks (I don't play games) and provides some conveniences, such as real-time translation and song recognition. The battery is okay for me, as I work long hours and don't constantly use my phone. The haptic engine is also very good, if anyone is interested. Another positive is that it will receive updates quickly for at least 3 years, so it may have some resale value.
On the negative side, the screen's low refresh rate didn't make much of a difference for me. Also, the fingerprint sensor is fine until you put a screen protector on it. After that, it often doesn't recognize the same finger even after multiple scans. This weakness is exacerbated by the lack of facial recognition.
In conclusion, I highly recommend it to someone who wants a good camera and doesn't want to sell their kidney to get it. I don't recommend it to someone who wants a large screen for consuming content or playing games.
I wanted a mobile phone that had a very good camera, didn't lag, and didn't cost too much. I am very satisfied with the camera in both photos and videos. It is also fast and doesn't lag, and the sound is loud and clear. Ideally, I might have wanted a little more brightness on the screen, but I can't tell yet if it's because of the screen protector I put on. I bought the phone knowing that 1. It charges slowly and the battery life is one to one and a half days. 2. It doesn't support 5G. 3. It doesn't have a headphone jack, so I have nothing negative to say about that aspect. Also, connectivity to wireless headphones is fast and I have no issues with calls or the internet. For the use I want it for, it has fully met my needs!
Excluding the battery life that lasts for 3-6 hours of screen-on-time (1-2 days depending on usage) and the speaker that is not particularly powerful for music and videos, it is a very attractive device.
The photos it takes (especially at night) are fantastic.
The speed and responsiveness of the device are very satisfactory.
Multitasking is done without any problem.
For casual tasks such as browsing and music, no complaints (although I am a little annoyed by the absence of a headphone jack).
I don't play games on my phone, so I don't have an opinion.
So far, it hasn't disappointed me. The only minor negatives are that it doesn't have a well-made note-taking app, so I have to download whatever I find on the Play Store, which isn't always great. Also, about one in ten times, people won't hear me if I have the speakerphone on, but it's not a big deal since I can just put it to my ear and it sounds fine. Overall, I'm very satisfied, especially with the camera, battery life, and gaming performance.
I got this specific phone as a second one mainly for its camera. I also have a Xiaomi 12x.
The camera is very good, but not so much better than other phones that justify choosing it just for that. It is definitely a camera that takes very good photos in most scenarios, but what one considers a good photo is often a matter of taste. For example, the Pixel has very realistic colors while the 12x exaggerates them, but if you take a picture of a child's joy, the 12x will look nicer to you.
On the other hand, having read a lot of complaints about the Google processor, I must admit that it left me speechless. The phone, in combination with pure Android, is very fast and cannot be compared to mid-range phones. Perhaps the most pleasant surprise from this specific phone.
I don't even care about the 60hz screen. What good is a fast screen with SD 7xx processors? Ok, if you put it side by side with a flagship that has a higher refresh rate, it looks slower, but when you open an application, you forget about it. The only downside of the screen is the brightness, which is a bit low for Greece.
Its battery is huge and easily lasts for a day, but if you make the mistake of needing to charge it during the day, it's better to put the sim in another phone. The phone only charges at night, anything else is utopian. Nevertheless, I believe that anyone who charges it all night will never complain about the battery.
In terms of connectivity, I personally have no issues with missed calls or the speed of 4G, but this probably has to do with the coverage of each area.
If I had to judge the phone more easily, I would call it a flagship killer because with 300 something euros, you get a top processor with a very good camera and a large battery, rather than a photographic mobile.

Amazing clean Android software, the best camera in its category compared to other models, and overall a very good value for money mobile. The only possible negative is the battery life, which is still decent.
I'll be brief. I bought it on 3/01, so after 3 days I have to say, buy it, those of you who want to stand out from the crowd and want a mobile phone that does almost everything perfectly for €350. For the advantages (camera, screen, speakers, others have said it all). Disadvantages:
1) I don't know if it's just me, but on the first day I got it, I had to go to Menidi from the southern suburbs. The GPS wasn't working, I turned it on and off a couple of times and it worked... on the way back. I was disappointed from the first day, but I got over it.
2) While I'm on the phone, the signal suddenly drops and my interlocutor can't hear me, which didn't happen with any of my previous phones. I was a little disappointed, but I got over it too.
3) The volume adjustment buttons are below the main button. It shows us once again that it's unconventional, and although it annoyed me at first, I got used to it after 2 days.
Apart from these few things, the battery is great, it lasts me a day, the charging is normal, but we've gotten used to everything happening so fast that it bothers us to wait half an hour longer, as if our little egg will get cold.
Get it, guys, it's the most compact (due to the 6.1-inch screen), designed and special mobile phone I've had in my possession for the last 10 years, without having any special knowledge of mobile phones.
Update 18/01: The mobile phone gets better every day. Its battery lasts me over a day with calls, YouTube, Spotify, Netflix, social media, at the end of the day it has 30% left, amazing. Everything has been fixed, put a second fingerprint and change the screen sensitivity and it will work perfectly. I think you should buy it with your eyes closed.
Exceptional in every way for the use I make of it! (I take a lot of photos, talk a lot, don't play games except for chess on lichess which I don't think strains it anywhere).
The only unique and serious drawback: Sometimes in areas where antennas alternate or the network is very busy, it doesn't pick up a line for calls or takes too long to pick up a line. I think it's due to the combination of the Pixel's 5G technology compared to areas without 5G network. I have Wind connection, I live in Heraklion, Crete and I have the problem in the car when I move to and from the city center... tested repeatedly!!!
If it didn't have this problem, I would give it 6 stars without hesitation, with a reasonable question as to why someone would buy a more expensive phone. Maybe only an iPhone Pro with Lidar and a price 4-5 times higher.
Update 27/04/2023:
The problem with calls has been completely solved with the latest update from Google.
Issues with fingerprint recognition that I noticed all this time have been minimized.
In the end, I really like its design that doesn't blend in with any other phone. I can find it immediately in the pile of phones on the table from the least worn corners (compared to iPhones that are widely circulated and all other manufacturers imitate), but also from the horizontal strip of cameras at the back.
Highly recommended, waiting for the 7a (which hasn't been released and I will skip)!!!
Evaluation after one week of use.
The phone is honest in terms of its price.
Very good analysis, nice screen, nice menu and navigation, nice feel as a device. The photos of the rear cameras are commendable, especially those of the "portrait" option. The front selfie photo is fine, nothing impressive but it's okay, night shots are also good. The video with the rear cameras is quite good, however, I have a big complaint about the video of the front camera, which is bad. The battery with relaxed use lasts about a day, while with minimal use almost 2, but if you use it heavily, it can drain in a few hours. Another negative is the slow charging, from 20% to 100% it takes about an hour and forty minutes to charge. Overall, it is a very good choice and given the approximately €330 I spent, I have no complaints. If it had a better front video and a better battery or at least faster charging, the phone would be excellent. But it wouldn't belong to the mid-range budget category. So it's definitely a good choice.

Well, after 5 months of use, I am thoroughly DISAPPOINTED with the phone. Despite the positive aspects I have mentioned (camera, battery, AI features), there have been some bugs that drive me crazy. I will briefly mention some.
--UNACCEPTABLE fingerprint sensor. It works 3 out of 10 times. It is completely useless. I wouldn't use it at all, but unfortunately, it is a prerequisite for using G-Pay.
--Email synchronization issues. It is a problem that the Pixel faces. Emails don't come through, and you can't even refresh the app. So, you have to use the browser. I have been like this for 5 days now, who knows for how long, and it's the second time it has happened. Talking to the community, it is something that other users also experience.
--Terrible signal and frequent confusion, especially when using a second sim (e-sim).
--It freezes more often than I experienced with the LG V40 or even the RealMe, which had an inferior processor. Apps freeze, the screen lags, and it doesn't respond to touches for some moments. For example, someone calls you, and you can't answer.
--Lastly, it is frustrating to connect to Bluetooth, which is by no means fast.
Overall, the phone is a NO for me. It has an amazing camera, yes. It has a nice interface, but nothing extraordinary, and it lacks the customization options that even Samsung phones have now.

Firstly, I will say that when you open the box, you get a phone of EXCELLENT BUILD QUALITY for which you have paid VERY LITTLE MONEY. In terms of tangible quality, I like it more than my wife's S21FE. You won't realize that the back cover is plastic as it gives you the impression of glass, and the device overall gives you the feeling of a STURDY and SERIOUS build, much superior to the A53 that is roughly in the same price range. Also, I want to mention that the device sits exceptionally well in the hand, its size is just right, and the bezels are not as bad as they appear in videos or review photos.
Now let's move on to the specific elements based on what I have judged so far. I don't know how to emphasize it for the inexperienced. CLEAN ANDROID. Guys, there is no smoother experience than what you get with a Pixel. I read it, many people said it, but I couldn't imagine what they meant. Previously, I had a RealMe GT Master, which had a fairly clean operating system. But STILL, NO COMPARISON. What you experience with the Pixel is unique. Everything runs very fast and smoothly, without much fuss. So, don't expect changes in icons, etc. (however, they have a beta version where icons adapt their theme to your wallpaper or choice). But I could say that I like how all the colors adapt to the background palette you have set, changing throughout, from the notification panel to the keyboard. Overall, it has many options to tailor it to your liking. Let's move on.
SCREEN. 60Hz?
When you start using the Pixel, you see an excellent screen with vibrant colors, very strong brightness, and very fast response to touches. I believe it plays a crucial role in the smooth experience that stems from the operating system in general. 60Hz? I don't know where you will see it, or rather, IN NO CASE will you feel "limited" with the screen you have in your hands. In a side-by-side comparison with the RM at 120Hz for browsing, the Edge browser I use ran smoother on the Pixel. Overall, I haven't seen any difference in my browsing and social media usage.
CAMERA.
The camera on this phone is jaw-dropping. It's impossible for a phone priced at €320 to have such a camera. It's incomparable to Xiaomi phones with 200-300MP cameras that cost around €400-500. I compared it side by side with the S21FE in low-light conditions and there was no comparison. The naturalness it brings to portraits is something I haven't seen in any other phone. So, in the price range up to €400-500, excluding Huawei phones that are hard to find now, it's very difficult to find a better camera. Now, you might ask if I'm one of those "tech-savvy" people who found the Google Camera for their phone. Yes, I did. And it did improve the situation. But if you ever get your hands on a Pixel, you'll truly understand what GOOGLE CAMERA is. I don't need to say anything else. If you prioritize PHOTOGRAPHY as your second or third priority, don't look elsewhere, leave the 48-64MP cameras of other phones aside and get this one.
CALLS. NETWORK. eSIM.
Calls are flawless. The audio quality is strong and clear. As for the network, let's not mention it again. Forget about 5G, VoLTE, VoWifi, etc. Hopefully, they will be available at some point. On the other hand, you should know that the eSIM works perfectly with ergonomic options and a plethora of customization for call/data preferences, etc. I haven't encountered any issues with calls so far. I must also mention that the PROXIMITY SENSOR is flawless. Additionally, the screen doesn't accidentally touch when it's in your pocket, like what happened with RealMe and Xiaomi phones. For example, if I received a call and had Bluetooth on, the screen would turn on while the phone was in my pocket, and if it was on the side of my leg, it would accept inputs and often end the call. This definitely doesn't happen now.
SPEAKER.
The stereo speakers have a very nice sound. Personally, they perfectly cover my usage, which includes watching videos and listening to music on Spotify. I really like the bass they provide and the clarity of the voice without any distortion.
ALWAYS ON DISPLAY.
It's a beautiful version of AOD that provides a lot of information and is fully interactive, while also recognizing when it's in your pocket and completely turning off.
CONNECTIVITY.
With the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro that I have, the connection is immediate and seamless. It also displays the battery percentage in a native widget.
BATTERY and SLOW CHARGING.
This is a part that bothers me. Having gotten used to 65W charging, where the phone would charge in 30 minutes, now I have to switch to a situation where the phone takes 1.5 hours to charge with an 18W charger. This is a big negative for me. On the other hand, so far (2nd day), I haven't seen any miracles from the battery. However, I will wait to see what many people mention, that the situation improves after a week of learning. Nevertheless, I have quite a few power-consuming features and smart functions (e.g., screen monitoring if you're looking at it, active double tap on the back, 2 SIMs in an area with one signal line, and ALL OPEN except NFC).
SMART UNIQUE FEATURES.
As some of you may have seen, Google with the Tensor takes smart technology to another level. This means that now you have some unique capabilities, such as live translation of a call you receive. The ability of the keyboard to type in Greek and have the words translated on the screen is a great and unique feature. The same can be done for a song you listen to or a video you watch. UNIQUE. PERFECT. This is the Tensor, guys. I don't care about the Snapdragons that gamers rave about. When a mobile phone is a tool, you want it for things like the above and not for silly things. Also, the Magic Eraser function that takes Photoshop to another level is exceptional.
There's nothing better for the money! Satisfactory size, fast processor, clean operating system and updates with Google's guarantee, awesome photos. Overall, if someone is interested in getting a flagship phone without it being a flagship, there is nothing better at this price.
For the money and marketing, the portrait mode is unacceptable. The AI not only fails to always avoid blurring and distorting parts of faces, but also adds noise, ruining the photos...
So, I bought the device about a month and a half ago, my previous phone was a Nokia 8 that I had bought in 2018 and was still fully functional. The Pixel 6A has serious connectivity issues, the signal suddenly disappears, it is never at full strength inside my house (on Michalakopoulou street, on a floor, in an apartment that faces Michalakopoulou, so how much more central can you get!), while calls have been dropped for no reason several times. The internet is also weak, notifications for incoming emails come first on the computer and then on the phone (the opposite used to happen with my previous phone), while Google Maps has failed to locate me to give me directions to a specific address... in Pagkrati near the Kallimarmaro Stadium, not on any mountain. I admit I am disappointed, especially since I did not expect such issues from a Google phone, especially considering the purchase cost (I paid 432 euros), which cannot be considered as belonging to the most economical category.
Purchased in August.
-Battery: In the first few days it didn't hold up as well until the phone learned your usage. Now it easily lasts a day.
-Camera: Just look at the photos.
-Video: Very good, but not as good as the photos.
-Screen: It's 1080p with a 60hz refresh rate. Personally, I don't mind because with the software it runs smoothly and I have no complaints about it.
-Signal: It doesn't pick up 5G because it's not supported in Greece, only up to LTE.
At the price of 380 euros, I'm very satisfied. If what you're looking for is a good camera, good software, and a good battery in a small size, this is the way to go.

Minor issues with the phone after 10 months of use:
- As we all know, it has a problem with calls. I don't miss many, but there are times when the phone just doesn't ring and I get a message saying I missed a call. However, I emphasize that this doesn't happen often.
- An annoying thing for me is that it heats up quickly and you feel it. The processor is powerful, but it's not normal for the temperature to rise so much after 15-20 minutes of continuous use. It's not that you can't touch it, but you'll feel discomfort in your fingers.
In conclusion, a great phone with its problems. If anything comes up, I'll keep you updated.

- Camera , software and battery life is getting better and better in each update they throw it
