Get ready to experience great adventures on the mountain with the Columbia Facet Sierra Outdry. They feature a leather upper with an OutDRY membrane for rain protection and a high-response Techlite+ midsole for cushioning comfort on your journey.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
I buy it in a week, it opens up on the seam, I return it and they give me another one.. Well, in a month it opened all around, the worst shoe I have ever bought, not worth even 20€
Good evening,
Their use is exclusively in an urban environment, specifically in Athens for the distribution of goods and external work with a scooter or on foot, and not for hiking.
They are comfortable to use, non-slip on wet roads and sidewalks, and in my subjective opinion, they are nice but somewhat clunky.
About Waterproofing:
In heavy but not torrential rain, and with the protection of the scooter's plastics, quite a bit of water gets through, and my socks and soles get wet. If I need to cross standing water on foot, then it is certain that a lot of moisture will get through.
Comparison:
I also have the Adidas Terrex hiking boots, which I use in exactly the same way. They have held up well for me in many storms. My entire foot has gone in up to the ankle joint dozens of times in potholes or sidewalks with standing water, and the moisture that gets through the Gore Tex waterproofing membrane is much less compared to that of the Facet Sierra Outdry.
Best regards
