Place the cover over your armchair/sofa and straighten it starting from the top corners. Make sure the tag is on the inside and to the right. The cover is stitched to be snug and fit your sofa.

Then you can cover the rest of the sofa and "tuck" the excess fabric between the crevices between the back, arms, and cushions with the special foam pieces found in the package.
