The Hyundai chainsaw operates on a battery, does not produce exhaust fumes, and allows you to move freely as it is not dependent on cables and sockets. The working duration depends on the battery and its charge level. With a weight of 1.1 kg and a bar length of 15 cm, it is ideal for tree pruning and wood carving.
Easy to use
The pruning chainsaw operates with a battery, free from cables giving you complete freedom of movement and a chain lubrication tank with a bulb. Weighing 1.5 kg, it is an ideal tool for any job and for amateur use.

I have been using it for almost a month.
First of all, it is an auxiliary tool. It does not replace chainsaws.
It is powerful and cuts wood easily, even up to 10 cm in diameter. The accompanying battery has sufficient duration. As an auxiliary tool, it is more than enough for a day's work.
It requires some attention during use, especially with thin branches because it tends to "jump" if we do not place the branch in contact with the body of the tool (at the base of the chain), but in the middle. I believe that the type of chain used is to blame for this, or perhaps its low speed (compared to chainsaws).
The manufacturer does not mention that the chain needs oiling, but it is good to lubricate it after a few cuts with a small oiler. (Oil has never harmed machines!!!).
In conclusion, it is a very good auxiliary tool - excellent for its price.
For 25 euros that I got it for, excellent. Surely some kind of imitation is involved, I don't think the official Hyundai makes such gadgets, but even so, it's just fine.
Very good for amateurs... with breaks I pruned 25 olive trees with branches over 5 centimeters (using both batteries)...
In 2 cases I overdid it and cut very thick trunks with some difficulty....
Be careful, it doesn't work for very thin branches because it kicks... I messed up once instead of using a saw (because I was lazy) and thankfully I was wearing gloves...
That's why I recommend using it along with good gloves to avoid accidents!!
Of course, at regular intervals I oiled the chain and occasionally added a little WD-40 for extra lubrication...
In the end, I did a good cleaning...
I hope it lasts!!
I should mention a downside....
The instructions state that the package includes 2 chains while there was only one inside....
I don't know if the store or the manufacturer is responsible for the mistake...
This is about the 20cm blade with two batteries.
Powerful tool!
At first, I put the chain on backwards but immediately realized it because it wasn't cutting. (It's mentioned in the manual!)
It cut through a 10-year-old Leylandii tree, 4-5 meters tall with a 20 cm trunk, without any hesitation and all the peripheral branches with incredible ease. For this job and splitting the trunk into 6 pieces for the fireplace, the battery went from 4 bars to 2.
I estimate/think that with the two batteries, it could take down, chop, and cut all the branches from 4 such trees.
The chain needs tightening about every battery change (you loosen the white butterfly that holds the cover first) and press the oil pump periodically while cutting. Get a large syringe to easily add oil because the container on the saw is very small..!
The difference from a small gasoline-powered one I have with this specific electric one: it is much lighter, makes much less noise, and takes a little longer to cut. With the built-in lubrication and the two batteries, it becomes a very easy tool - you press a button and cut!
There is theoretically the limitation of battery time, which doesn't exist with the gasoline-powered one, but for AMATEUR use on MEDIUM trees with a thickness of 20-25 cm, it is impressively good, silent, and easy to use!
Very good tool, cuts branches very well but also the trunks of small trees. It was already assembled. The battery charged quite quickly and lasted a long time; I cut about eleven branches and two trunks and it still hasn't run out. It's just that on very thin branches it's quite unstable, a problem that didn't occur on larger branches like in the picture. It has very little vibration when cutting, you can hardly notice it. It cuts branches like butter, which I didn't expect, what can I say, it surprised me! I believe it was a very good purchase! The only downside is that you have to add oil every time.
I've had it for a month now. I don't have experience with another to compare, but I will say the following:
I've pruned stools, fig trees, and willows. Very comfortable and easy to use. It kicks a bit, but it doesn't bother much. The batteries last a long time since you only need to operate it for a few seconds per branch.
As for negatives, I would only say the following:
- The plastic "wing" above the chain often comes into contact with the trees and has broken a bit at the edge as well.
- The charger light doesn't turn off when the batteries are full. You just have to press the button on the battery to see the charge level and remove it when it's full.
Very good. I have it. For amateur use, it is perfect. The battery lasts a very long time. Be careful during use because it can kick back. Gloves are essential. I have cut a trunk of 25cm without any problem.
Do not buy this chainsaw, Its a toy not a tool. I don't understand how people gave it such a high review. You can not cut anything with it. Maybe a paper tree. Its a scam
Update. I installed the chain wrong, that why it did not cut well. Changed my score to a 4
Amazing tool.. Good battery, easy handling.. low weight .. Nice chain tensioning system. With two presses from the valve, you always have a chain with oil. Easy to place in the oil container ... Cuts well .. Fits on a cheaper pole and works with a smaller battery as well.. Comfortable, user-friendly, and functional everywhere!!!! Unreservedly!!!
For its price, it is very honest!!
Autonomy of 30 minutes but it got the job done.
With the 10 cm blade, it's perfect for amateur use, e.g., kindling for the grill.
Easy handling with one hand.
Case, one battery, charger in the package.
Easy to use and quite efficient. I pruned mainly small branches but also on small trunks it did a great job. As the friend below says, stretch the chain with the screwdriver included in the package because under pressure it comes off quite easily.
Excellent use for branches up to 10cm. Be careful to stretch the chain with the tools provided in the case before use. It cuts very well. If used with breaks to avoid strain, it will be trouble-free. It lasts quite a while, it didn't turn off on me
Replaced another cheap no name saw that couldn't handle even a branch (not talking about trunk!). The Hyundai is excellent for its price, it has already... successfully cut many branches (blackberries, pines, olive trees, almond trees). The battery is fine, and the construction looks well-made. It is the version with the 10-inch blade...
Quite a good purchase, it cuts well, but it only gets stuck when cutting small branches towards the edge of the blade. Many times it stops while cutting, as if it's jammed, and you have to remove it from the groove to start again. With the two batteries, it barely lasts an hour (not continuous) of cutting. The plastic cover of the gear is of average quality and construction, it might break at some point and I don't know what that would mean for its functionality.
I was afraid of it but in the end it proved me wrong. Especially for home use, it is amazing but also for jobs in the field it does the job perfectly with a second battery.
Awesome tool, it has solved my hands in garden care. It cuts wood very comfortably up to 5-6 centimeters width. Very easy to maintain (oiling before each use, cleaning and tightening the chain, etc). During use, the chain may loosen a bit, where to tighten it, simply screw a screw indicated by the manufacturer and it is ready for use again.
It cuts exceptionally well and even the dry branches. I bought it with the 20cm blade so that I can oil more easily. The buttons, as I read in other reviews, are plastic but they didn't bother me at all.
Minus one star because the charger in the package doesn't cover me in terms of charging time... it's slow. Which means that if you want to do work (and not just 5-10 trees), you will definitely need to invest in a battery and a fast charger.
Definitely only for amateur use. I easily cut a soft log of 10 to 15 inches. The chain got stuck a bit, but I probably didn't tighten the screw well. The battery lasted much longer than I expected. The chain doesn't stop as soon as you release the button. 10 cm blade. For a field, get one with oiling and chain tensioning without tools. After three uses, the teeth of the chain have worn out. It's perfect for a garden
