I was inspired by some bad reviews to write my own.

I have had this box for 2 years and it has fully satisfied me! In picture, sound, it accepts any apps you want and so far it is like new even though I have put a lot of stuff on it!

It has been tested on Netflix, Disney+, Cosmote TV, Ant1+ (Yes, I even paid for that once and regretted it...) Stremio for those in the know.. you just need to give it some time when you turn it on, and then it will fly! Just like that damn car.. you don't start it and immediately floor the gas.... take it easy.... you're going to watch a movie, no one is chasing you...

We have learned to rush with everything. Years ago it took a quarter of an hour to load a photo and now in 1 minute you download a 1GB movie and still we say it lags, it doesn't load quickly and such... come on now.. pff enough with the complaints...

With the wifi, it doesn't lag at all and I have the router 2 rooms away... it also has a way if you press the middle button on the remote to adjust the buttons with the 4 colors like they have on the TV remotes.

It also accepts other apps outside the store for more ☠️☠️☠️ ways to watch movies and sports.. you load them onto a flash drive and plug it into the box and everything is fine! Crisfytv... for sports! Please! It will save you!

So this specific one does all that it promises for the 2 years I have had it.. and I have it with me wherever I go! I also have a memory card with movies permanently on it, in case I don't have internet somewhere, and everything is fine!

I highly recommend it especially now that it has dropped to 80.. get it and you will remember me... if we think about how many times we bought a Chinese box for 30€ and it was crap we definitely spent more money than if we had bought this directly..

When I received the Box, I criticized it because it didn't have good image quality. Several days passed and I had to have both Cosmote and Mecool at the same time just for Netflix. I started searching online for ways to improve it, where you don't find many options. I read about the hz and set it to 50 from 59.9, which is its high, and I saw a big difference. However, in the last few days, I lost the HDR from Netflix and decided to reset it, and miraculously the image improved. I don't know what was causing this, but at the moment I am very satisfied and ultimately it was worth the approximately 100 € I paid. Very good colors and sound, and the HDR of Netflix is simply amazing. I haven't given it 5 stars yet, but if it doesn't present any issues in the future, it will get them.
UPDATE 23/6/24: The image started shaking after it heated up too much without being on for a long time, something that has not happened to me with the Nova Box that has been running for at least 15 hours a day for about three years. A bad sign, just like the bad image it had when I bought it, which took 15 days to improve

  I have had it for 2 months. I wanted a smart box with ethernet because before this I had a Xiaomi that only had wifi and wouldn't connect to anything. This particular one is excellent so far, it doesn't lag on apps like Netflix, Cosmote TV, Prime Video, Ant1Plus.. For something more demanding like Kodi, I don't know.. Its menu is easy to use. During the initial setup, it asks for the brand of the TV but it doesn't have F&U. I randomly put Futjitsu and didn't encounter any problems. I will return in due time for any issues that may arise.

  Another UNJUSTIFIABLY overpriced product.
  I will not comment on the positive "reviews" because I will become very mean.

  It gives a washed-out image, tested on 5 different screens, TV, projectors. No matter how much you calibrate the image, you will not get the result you expect from a product of this price and category. Some people rightly wrote that other products of 30 euros MAY give a better image.

  The HDMI cable it contains constantly disconnects during 4K 60hz viewing because it is obviously HDMI 1.4, which is unacceptable when it tells us that it can support 4K 60Hz projections, which is the reason why I bought it. If I wanted to display 1080, dear mecool, then there are plenty of EXCELLENT cheap options. You buy such a product to have good 4K, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE IT.

  The Bluetooth takes time to connect and often has interruptions, especially if you don't constantly close the background running applications.

  The Wi-Fi, if you don't have the router in the same room, I find it unlikely to catch a signal. I see it struggling.

  To play files from USB or disk, you need a player, you have to search for the lightest and most practical one. However, even in 4K files with good quality and bit rate, you will still be disappointed as IT DOES NOT PLAY THEM.

  I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

  The reason I bought this particular box was the good reviews I heard about the COSMOTE TV and EON applications. As a former owner of the Mi Box S, I was tired of the constant crashes and disconnections it made whenever COSMOTE TV was playing (we are talking about at least 2-3 disconnections in an hour, with continuous image crashes). It did the same to a lesser extent with EON. The same thing happened on Youtube as soon as the image quality went above 1080p. At first, I thought it was the fault of the applications, later my network. Until I decided to give Mecool a chance and I have to say one thing: I regret not doing it earlier. The box works perfectly, NO disconnections in any application, with the option of maximum image quality!

  Additional note: If you notice any minor glitches in the image flow, adjust the resolution from 1080p-59.94Hz to 1080p-50Hz and... enjoy!

  I also bought the TV box mainly for Cosmotetv since the Xiaomi s box crashes the application two or three times, freezes, and restarts the box only in that case, and on my smart TV it displays the known network issues, etc. For EON, Netflix, ERT, YouTube, and other applications, I will have the rest and I will also watch rare content on it.

  I will not mention settings, etc. since those have already been written.

  I will only mention its very positive aspects: it is fast, has a good menu, has an Ethernet port so you don't have to use a USB network adapter like with the Xiaomi, it also has 1 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0, an Optical (Toslink) port, AUX, card, it is open at the bottom for ventilation so it doesn't freeze like some others, and of course, a very good remote control that has basic functions, some extras, and of course, settings, and you can access them directly without closing the application.

  The Boxaki is worth it. 4 stars because I can't connect it to my home WiFi, but I can connect with my mobile hotspot. On vacation, it picked up all available WiFi networks and connected normally. It probably has an intolerance to my WiFi!!!

  Others, I had bought the Xiaomo to 4Ks. Yes, but it doesn't play 4K HDR because simply the speed that the chipset reaches on the Internet is 30-35mb/ps. This is another category and much faster, reaching 90+mb/ps, it plays everything. Don't search too much... And the name is just for show (xiaomi)

  Very good and worth its money, it needs a few more adjustments in the firmware and it will be perfect. I installed most of my apps, but I'm missing Vodafone TV. I have a problem with Prime Video and the HDMI cable, but I will fix it tomorrow. Overall, the picture needs several adjustments because now it is much better and I had to readjust all the settings, but now it works perfectly. Oh, I forgot to mention that EON TV has an issue with activation via the account, but it's not a serious problem. I will write to you with more details once I have investigated it further. Overall, I highly recommend it.
