I really don't know where to start. In an attempt to become more realistic, it has become a joke. Players lose the ball on their own, some passes go anywhere, defending is quite difficult, resulting in conceding a goal if you make a mistake, but you learn that over time. Goals can be scored from anywhere. It has never happened that I played a game and less than seven goals were scored. Fouls are not given easily. As for the online part, there is a lot of lag both in FUT and seasons (200 connection). In short, if someone has FIFA 22, there is no reason to get FIFA 23 at the moment for this price. They should wait for it to drop below 20.
Update 15/01
After several hours mainly playing online, I have the following to add.
1) The game's AI is terrible in every aspect, especially regarding the settings they have put in the refereeing. It is not possible for a defender to suddenly come and knock down a player who is alone with the ball without tackling, and there is no foul. And in the same situation with the opponent, a foul is given. The movements made by teammates are unacceptable, even in 1-2 combinations. Many times they start a movement and then stop halfway.
2) The lag is unacceptable. Half of the game is seen in fast forward due to the effort to synchronize.
3) Let's talk about the realism when almost every corner kick can result in a goal with a scissor kick or a shot from 40 meters outside the box. Or when the opponent can pass the entire defense with just one player. The defense requires a lot of effort to not fail and ruin the play on your own.
4) Matches can easily turn around. I have experienced turning a game around from 3-0 and winning with 3-5, and the opposite, winning 4-0 at halftime and then losing with 4-6.
This game is a joke. It is unbalanced and does whatever it wants. Sometimes players run fast, other times they can't move their feet. Sometimes the defender can't catch the attacker at all, other times he knocks him down, takes the ball, and goes on a counterattack.
The fact that it is a monopoly gives EA the right to present us with this garbage as a serious game, and we, like animals, go and spend our money on it.
Thank you very much, EA, for all the realism you offer us, making it possible for a player to pass the entire team, goals to be scored from forty meters outside the box, players getting injured in every match without fouls being given, and many other realistic things... Overall, only play single player.
