It is not possible for there to be reviews on this product that pertain to a variation of the product. I fell for it and bought it, and yes, it DOES NOT have either sound or light. It is quality, but obviously, it is not a lightsaber if it doesn't have light. Come on, guys.

For those interested, it has neither sounds nor lights; for its price, it's just fine, it seems to withstand hits from the kids.

Excellent (for what it is)
Durable so far, beautiful, and illuminates well.
The sound works properly (so far), unlike the lightsaber that broke immediately.

I bought the dark saber and this one for the kids. The specific (vader) stopped making sound after 7 minutes of use. I emphasize that during these "critical" 7 minutes, it did not receive any mistreatment or hits (those came later).
The other one still works fine.
Also, I have to say that the transparent material which is the "blade" scratches quite easily (if you are a very aggressive jedi) and also it doesn't illuminate very well, maybe it should have been colored instead of transparent - and this is confirmed by the dark saber which illuminates better.
In any case, now we have a darth vader at home, which is always good!
Edit: I now realize that the product I received is different from the one advertised, as the "blade" is transparent while it is clearly advertised in the photos (where it is disassembled) as colored, resulting in it barely illuminating during the day.

We have bought the red and blue lightsabers from Hasbro. The little one also asked for the black one. It is less bright than the other two, but it has a nicer sound! Judging from previous experiences, it is definitely very durable. The kids have been playing with them constantly for a year now, and they haven't had any issues (neither with the lightsabers nor with the kids ;) )

To play with the child is good, obviously for someone who wants something of good quality and in a collector's style there are specific companies.

Very nice, with sounds and movement when hitting things. The light is not very strong, but for the price, it is a very nice piece.
