I have 2 televisions powered by the signal of a good quality antenna "Televes 149221 V ZENIT 5G LTE UHF" which is located low and does not have direct visual contact with the broadcasting point from Hortiati, so in the 2nd one the signal always goes weak without amplification.
I had a "Chinese" one which for much more than a decade did the job for me but it broke down.
Now, due to EURO 2024 and the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, I had to find a device to make both televisions work properly and I proceeded to buy this one since I definitely wanted the plugs to be like this so I wouldn't have to cut and sew!
It works perfectly and I have a very good signal on both televisions.
I tried the Meliconi AMP200 amplifier on a television with weak signal (about 40% quality and 85% intensity) by connecting two relatively good quality 1.5-meter IEC antenna cables. While the amplifier initially worked extremely well, providing 100% signal on all channels, after 1 day the problems reappeared and the signal dropped below 20% on all nationwide channels. The signal quality was even worse on HD channels. After changing the cables, restarting the amplifier, and retuning the channels, I did not see any improvement in the significant pixelation issue. In reality, this amplifier creates more interference in the image than signal enhancement. I should note that I connected only one television. To make sure before writing this negative review, I bought an amplifier from a major satellite company (it cost me 6 euros more than the Meliconi) and the problem was immediately solved. Since I installed it, it works intermittently, initially sending the signal to the 2 televisions and then after a while it cuts off and requires turning off and on the power switch on top of it to reactivate and send the signal to the receivers again, which it loses again after a short time. I don't know if the piece I bought is defective, but unfortunately it is unreliable!
It does what it says. It improved the signal quality from 30% to 100%. Several channels were experiencing the so-called "mosaic" and with this amplifier, it was eliminated. I recommend it.
It satisfactorily enhances the signal...
