Reviews
I have had this particular scooter for three years. I bought it from Athens. It is 1,800 watts. I have had nothing but problems with it. As soon as I got it and they sent it to me, it started leaking oil from the front bottles. They sent me replacements which were much worse than the ones it had. They were very soft. As a result, even a small road irregularity would cause the entire front system to shake and the plastic handlebar bases to break. After a long time, they sent me more replacements which were even worse. After about a year of having it, I installed a lithium battery that I purchased from the store where I bought it. Everything was fine. It went like an airplane. But what did I need that for? After about seven months, the battery started to only last for less than 20 kilometers. We're talking about a lithium battery, right? It took endless hours to charge and the duration was very short. The scooter would only travel about 15-20 kilometers per day. The store where I bought the scooter and the battery refused to send me a new battery, saying that the Chinese manufacturers don't admit to any issues. I sent the battery to Athens and they told me it had a problem. Eventually, they sent me another lithium battery, but it wasn't new. After working for about five months, it developed another problem. As I was riding, it suddenly accelerated on its own. Whether the throttle was closed or open, it would go at full speed. Luckily, I managed to stop it by turning off the switch. Since then, it hasn't started again. I turn on the switch, the dashboard lights up, I open the throttle, and nothing happens. It does nothing. Now try to figure that out. I'm waiting to see what they will tell me.
April 18, 2023: It turns out the issue was with the throttle. I found it out on my own. The store where I bought it asked for 40 euros to send me a new throttle. I found one at another store for half the price.
I would also like to mention that I have another small scooter, 250 watts, that I bought from Thessaloniki. I have had it for almost ten years and the only thing it has needed is batteries. Nothing else. No repairs or anything, even though it has been used more. So be careful. Ask for written warranties and read the fine print of the warranties carefully. I am very dissatisfied with this particular scooter. In essence, out of the three years I have had it, there hasn't been a single year without problems.
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?Regarding autonomy and charging duration, cut something and it is logical. Autonomy is given based on perfect, ideal conditions that have nothing to do with real life. Something like the fuel consumption that car manufacturers provide.
Nevertheless, a range of 50 km is considered satisfactory for short trips within the city.
The battery needs about 5 hours to charge from 35% to 100%. It is removable, so you can charge it in your apartment.
It is beautiful, sleek, reaches a top speed of about 45 km/h, and the lack of noise during driving is a real pleasure.
It connects via Bluetooth to your phone, you can hear the guidance from Google Maps through the speakers... you can listen to music through its radio. It also has a factory alarm.
On the (very) negative side, there is no user manual. I even sent an email to the dealership, but I never received a response.
There are buttons that I don't know what they do, there is an app for the phone but I don't know how to connect it, and I don't know what tire pressure they should have....
Unacceptable for the dealership.Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?
