Compared to a pyramis at my parents' house, it's like day and night. On the first step, if you go to the front door, you can feel the air being pulled by the extractor fan! Everything has been fine for 2 months. It's a cheap construction, of course, you think you got it for 40 euros, but it does its job!
I wonder how this hood has good reviews! I bought it based on the reviews and of course the price since I wanted something economical for a vacation home. But I am completely dissatisfied as it has no good performance at all. Also, after about 15 minutes of use, the filters are filled with water and the lights start dripping onto the food! I definitely would not buy it again.
Okay, good... What you expect from such a type of extractor. Average things but you know that from the beginning. I'm saying this because of the type (drawer) and not the money.
Very good extractor, with normal noise, very good performance and suction power! It is worth the money.
The extractor is very good, relatively quiet, good light, and does what it's supposed to do. What bothers me - and for this reason I deduct one star - is that unlike other extractors, when you pull the piece that opens it automatically (to start it up), the light does not turn on automatically. To turn on the light, after you have pulled it and started it up, you have to press the button that turns on the light. And to turn off the light, you have to press the same button again, meaning it doesn't turn off by closing the extractor. This is very annoying. And besides that, no one knows what will happen over the years with this button that you have to press every time you use it. And its buttons don't seem to be of exceptional quality. I expected better things from AEG.
Also, nowhere did I see it mentioned that you can only turn on and off the light in this way. If I had read this somewhere, I wouldn't have bought it. I would have chosen a different model. I should add that before buying it, I had read the manual, maybe not carefully enough. Lesson learned for the future.
AEG extractor hood with an ELECTROLUX motor. Replaced a budget MAIDTEC extractor hood. The difference in performance is like night and day. The noise at the 3rd level (full) is normal and not annoying. It does what it was built for with great efficiency. Very good product. We are satisfied.
