I take a bath, put on my pajamas, watch a fairy tale,

and seek my mother's embrace.

But at night when I wake up,

I look for her milk.

Then, when everything is asleep and with one voice they narrate,

"At night everything sleeps, don't forget

The armchair agrees,

the sofa snores,

the kangaroo murmurs in its sleep.

As for me, I'm not so sure,

but someone convinces me to crawl back into bed...

Maybe it's the Z hiding in the lamp.

A fairy tale about night weaning. Perhaps the most difficult step in weaning a child, as most of the time, if not always, breastfeeding is associated with the sweet happiness that transfers the child from the mother's embrace to Morpheus's embrace.

However, during the night, not only do children who want to breastfeed wake up, but also those who seek play or a hug. This fairy tale can be read in two ways. In the flow of the narration, you will find shooting stars that "guide" you to the words that replace the text referring to weaning.

A fairy tale with a double reading!

  • In the form of a fairy tale, it gives the exact situation of a child who is breastfeeding and has night awakenings.. Beautiful writing!

  • Well-written book!! Extremely clever the fact that it is double-sided reading. It describes in a gentle and understandable way for children what the situation is that the whole family experiences when they wake up at night and with a soft, sweet tone urges them to return to their bed. Another beautiful book by Marina Ploubi.

  • Excellent author with empathy and great love for children!
The book is written very carefully, so that it is simple and understandable for children and mainly for them to fully grasp its meaning. Additionally, they promote respect, mutual support, and encourage decision-making and awareness of situations in the smoothest possible way. I have only good words for all the books and the author herself. A wonderful person who has transformed her love for children into exceptional works for them.

Nice illustrations but boring book without any special story, just narrating a child's evening routine. My little one got bored quickly and doesn't even choose it anymore, and if I suggest it, she rejects it. Expensive for its quality. The pages are thin and tear easily.

When the author of the book is Marina Ploumi, you know that the book will definitely be full of sensitivity and tenderness! Marina, once again, touches upon an original and unique topic, the nighttime awakenings of a child (whether they are for breastfeeding or playing), and as always, she does it through the prism of empathy.
We loved the text of this book and we also loved the wonderful illustrations.... The toys that sleep as well, the stars that shine in the sky, the dark colors that make it ideal for nighttime reading!
Congratulations on this gem! It deserves to be in every children's library!

A book with dual reading, which comes to talk about those nights when children wake up to ask for milk or a toy. Beautifully written, interesting, with tender messages and rich illustrations. A book that complements the author's first book.

A book with dual reading for young children who wake up at night and seek a little milk, but also for older children who wake up at night and seek their toys. The text is cleverly written and simple. The illustration with vibrant colors captures the interest.

An excellent fairy tale, with dual reading, close to the reality of parents, with great respect and empathy for the child and all breastfeeding or non-breastfeeding mothers. The contribution of the father and his important role is emphasized again, as in the author's first book. I highly recommend it, it is very helpful for nighttime weaning.

Very tender with dual reading for children who wake up at night either for breastfeeding or for playing. Written in verses with shooting stars that lead to the alternative text.

A sweet book for bedtime, with dual reading. And for children who wake up to breastfeed and for children who wake up to play. The author is a supporter of breastfeeding, without stigmatizing mothers who choose not to breastfeed (something that is missing from our society).
