Did you find this review helpful? I bought them about 3 months ago. My previous sports shoes were also Asics, the Gel Galaxy 9, and I have been a fan of the company ever since. These specific Asics are even more comfortable and lightweight. I have also worn them several times for hiking in the mountains and they have proven to be very durable and comfortable. Another very positive thing for me is that the Asics have never caused me any discomfort until my foot gets used to them, something that has happened to me with shoes from other brands.
