With the Servo AF movie function, you can easily shoot high-quality movies with sharp focus. The lens uses STM stepping motor technology for smooth, continuous focus in movie mode, so the sound of the video is not distorted during focusing. Additionally, STM technology offers smooth focus transitions for high-quality shots.

The effects of camera shake are dynamically reduced when shooting movies without a tripod or following the action while walking. The Dynamic Image Stabilization system corrects more movements for steadier movie shots even when walking during shooting.

The EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM ensures stable images even when shooting handheld in low light. The lens features a three-stop Optical Image Stabilizer, which reduces the effects of camera shake and allows you to capture stunning photos in low light, as well as more stable images in all shooting conditions.

The two aspherical elements and one UD element of the lens offer high image quality with high sharpness and contrast in low light conditions.
